Martin Sargent and Natura Design carried out extensive renovations to my villa in Macher , Tias . Martin took a large old goat barn built in the 1980s ( which had been originally converted into 2 very basic 3 bedroom apartments ) and sympathetically converted it into a stunning 7 bedroom 8 bathroom luxury villa with a Cesar Manrique inspired sunken swimming pool . Martin's design knowledge and heavy construction expertise made a complicated job easy for me as the client . The work quality was very very good . Over 12 months after the job has been completed the villa still looks new !!

Playa Blanca We bought our villa in January 2019 although it was a bit tired and needed modernising. Our biggest concern (other than getting planning permission for a pool) was finding someone reliable who could implement our vision with us not being there at any time during the work. You hear so many stories of cowboy builders etc so we knew we would have to run the rule over a few and selected a short list of those recommended. We met Martin in April 2019. Within minutes, we knew we had the right person. His knowledge, ideas, suggestions and understanding of what could and couldn’t be done was excellent and helped us re-design parts that we wouldn’t be allowed to do. So, we went with Natura Design (Martin) and upgraded the villa including re-tiling the whole of the inside, re-furbishing three bathrooms and re-painting. Then we moved onto the outside (rear), redesigning the external area and terraces, re-tiling, putting in a bespoke swimming pool, new patio doors off the two rear bedrooms, new glass and chrome panels, new stairs to roof terrace, new pergola and re-painting. Martin arranged for the architect and all planning applications / permission on our behalf. As you can imagine, it wasn’t cheap, but you get what you pay for. The quality of workmanship was a price worth paying. Martin kept us informed all the way, sending photos of progress each week, dealing with unexpected issues which cropped up, contacting us if he had any questions etc. We’ve dealt with builders in the UK who we’ve seen every day and had less contact with! Best of all, he kept to the quotes (subject to a few additional changes we made and a couple of unforeseen issues) and kept to the timescales (subject to said issues). Always allow for a contingency on funds and timing with building work! We couldn’t recommend Martin highly enough and will be using Natura Design in 2020 to sort out the front of the villa. We moved to Lanzarote last year and being new to the island struggled to find the right people. Luckily we found Naturadesign online and then received a personal recommendation. They were quick to respond and subsequently carried out 2 projects for us last year - a new privacy wall for our villa and a new patio and BBQ area. They were helpful in finalising our ideas and their quotations were reasonable. All the work carried out was done quickly and to a high standard and their staff were friendly and professional. They also kept the work area very clean and tidied up every night. We need further work done this year and will again be asking Naturadesign to quote - I have no hesitation in recommending this excellent company.

Natura Design completed a full refurbishment of my villa in Puerto Calero. Having been unoccupied for 4 years, the entire property needed either renovated or at least checked. Electricity, plumbing, pool, roof, all had to be inspected then repaired. Martin acted as a project manager in my absence (I was in the UK) and I was delighted with the service, workmanship and the final cost. In particular, I appreciate that I was not charged for a lot of extras - so common in construction - but rather Martins charges were exactly as quoted. Finally, even though 2 years have passed, I can still call Martin with wee issues, even unrelated to the refurb, and he responds promptly 10/10! We thoroughly recommend Natura Design.

We bought our apartment in 2014, in 2015 we decided to remodel and refurbish it. We invited quotations for the works from local Building Companies, after meeting Martin, we chose Natura Design. We renovate properties in the UK and enjoy a "hands on" approach, Martin embraced this, he worked alongside us, arranged his works to suit our progress and was always available to offer support and advice. Natura Design carried out some works while we were in the UK, any problems were resolved by telephone and Martin sent weekly photographs to keep us up to date with progress. I am a Building Services Design Engineer with over 45 years experience, having run my own Design Consultancy for 33 years. In that time I have undertaken projects with Building Companies throughout the UK and in France, it is no exaggeration that Natura Design are one of the best and most reliable I have worked with, their works were carried out efficiently, on time, on budget and to a very high standard. Natura Design are an extremely experienced, competent, and reliable Building Company, we have no hesitation recommending them. Natura did a first rate job completing the refurbishment of our pool, pergola and the first stages of the patio area. Because we live away from the island most of the work was done without any direct supervision, usually after initial discussions on design where Natura came up with lots of valuable inputs. Any changes/issues in the construction were sorted out quickly in a friendly and helpful manner. Communication was clear and all commitments were met.

A1 Lanzarote villas has been using Martin for our large refurbishment projects for a few years now. The work and new ideas have all ways been welcome and introduced when Planning projects for us. They have all ways completed on time and weekly up dates and photos of the projects are welcome. They are a clean and reliable company. Martin took over the re-building and renovation of our villa in Playa Blanca, Lanzarote, after an unfortunate 'run-in' with a cowboy builder. Martin took on the job with compassion and vision - he understood where we wanted to get to and what we wanted the finished property to look and feel like. He took our designs and added his own flare and experience to create a magnificent home for us. The finished villa looks a million miles away from the mess it started in. Martin's eye for detail and his craftsmanship has given us a home to be proud of with the most beautiful multi-level swimming pool., wooden pergolas, wooden doors, stunning kitchen extension, mosaic tiling etc. His charges were reasonable and he was easy to work with remotely, always keeping in contact and asking our views but also, crucially, able to make day to day decisions by himself without troubling us over every screw and door-knob. Martin's trustworthy nature continued even after completion and he is always happy to come and change/fix/enhance anything we like and has fixed 'snagging' problems at the drop of a hat with no charge made. We are looking to buy another villa in Playa Blanca soon and will definitely be using Martin again, and would have no hesitation in recommending him to others. After the bumpy start with the "evil" cowboy builder we came into the relationship jaded, un-trusting and out of pocket - Martin restored our faith in builders and helped erase the negative memories! After having a bad experience with our original builder on Lanzarote, we were very lucky to find Martin, who stepped in and helped us complete our project. He is very professional with his approach to the work, has a team of experienced men around him, and for us has gone that extra mile to help with problems that should not even be his. We are very happy with all the work he has done for us and will continue to use his services in the future.

Having purchased a wreck of a villa in Playa Blanca, Lanzarote, we needed to find a builder who could help with new layout design, groundwork, building, decorating and finishing. We also needed a complete rewire & plumb. After searching the island we came across Martin at Natura Design. We went through our vision for the finished villa, looked at several properties he had worked on recently, pointed out what we liked (and what we didn't) and generally got a feel for how we could work together. Martin put together a very comprehensive quote listing each element of the works line by line. This gave us great confidence that the project had been though through properly. We were able to discuss the works and agree to spend less in some areas and more in others whilst working within the pre-agreed budget. Martin supported up with all the necessary paperwork. He dealt with the utility companies for new metering and acted on our behalf whenever necessary. We visited the site several times during the works however Martin sent us images and video on a regular basis. Whenever a major decision was required Martin consulted but most of the time we were very happy for him to crack on and self-manage. I wanted a villa that had WOW factor and that is exactly what was delivered. We went over the top on some of the architectural design but it has made all of the difference. After several months we ended up with a brilliantly finished villa which has received nothing but compliments from everyone who has seen it. Maybe the best thing about Natura Design is that once the work was completed, and the bills all paid, Martin still keeps in touch and has been in to do some minor remedial work as required. I would have no hesitation in recommending Martin and Natura Design. We will certainly use him again in the future.
