From design through construction Karen Barnes of North View Landscape Design was not only extremely creative but highly professional. She was so easy to work with and while our yard was a bit challenging she was able to make use of space we could never imagine utilizing. On top of it all she always kept us abreast of additional costs which allowed us to make any necessary decisions. Karen was able to create our own personal paradise right out our back door.

We hired North View Landscape Design to rework our front and back yards after an extensive home renovation. The designer presented us with several options and worked closely with us to create a garden that has textural and visual interest throughout the year. Her designs were inventive and her plant selection has continued to meet our goal of requiring a minimum of upkeep to continue looking fabulous! She designed a beautiful front walk bordered by a small bed with a water feature that presents a serene yet warm welcome to all who visit. Her crews have an eye for detail and are fine craftsmen. We have hired North View Landscape Design for projects ranging from designing a separate vegetable garden to redesigning our front walk/front stairs to changing the flagstone configuration in our backyard to address a water issue. Each time we hired this designer we were more than happy with the results. The designer was extremely knowledgeable about design, plants, hardscape, and estimated costs. She communicated with us every step of the way and projects remained within our agreed upon budget. Her workers were master craftsmen who met deadlines, and were punctual and respectful. We hired Northview Design to provide designs for our backyard which needed a total transformation. We were given 3 designs for the backyard and a design for the front yard. We absolutely loved the concepts and opted to do both the front and back. We were thrilled with the quality of the workmanship of our new flagstone patio,stone retaining wall, outdoor stone fireplace and new wooden deck. The stone walkway and new driveway added style to the front of our house. We even won a City Beautification Award! The designer was very present and attentive during the project and her contractors and installers were wonderful-on time and maintained a high level of professionalism. The company stayed on budget and completed the project in a timely fashion.We had an outstanding experience.
