About Us

In early 2007, Rachel Sejas launched The Painted Lady Custom Finishes. She maintains a small crew and offers personalized service to both residential and commercial clienteles. She offers custom designed decorative finishes to complement any style. Rachel trains yearly with some of the most recognized masters in the business in order to stay up to date on an ever changing climate of design and product development. As a Professional Faux Consultant, Rachel works to guide clients to the right coating, provide instructions on proper prep and application, ensure customers have the tools and sundries needed, demonstrate the value of using quality products, recognize and resolve common coatings problems and advise customers on color and decorating with coatings. Specialties Specializing in decorative paints, plasters, faux finishes & concrete overlay as well as private lessons for DIYers

We heard of her company through a friend and decided to give her a try. We set up the appointment and met her at the premises. It was a very enjoyable experience because of her friendliness and knowledge. She gave us the best price out of five other bids. We have recommended her to all of our family and friends and will continue to do so.

We employed The Painted Lady Faux paint some of the finishes in our master suite and master bath. Her task was to create finishes that had the appearance of Marble. The items she painted were columns, bases, and caps that are MDF and fiberglass. The result is beautiful. She was neat in her work and left the site clean. i will employ her again for some additional finishes in the house.

Rachel is a true artist who is passionate about her craft. She works tirelessly to stay on trend with finishes and products by learning new techniques. I have hired Rachel to work on several projects for clients and am always extremely happy with the finished product. She has spent years perfecting her craft and it shows in her work.

Rachel has done a number of homes for me including custom clients as well as market homes. Her designs and attention to detail are second to none. Rachel had finished a bath for us when we had to cut into a wall to move some plumbing, she was able to repair the finishes and make it look seamless. I highly recommend Rachel.

Commented: Could you please tell me the dimensions of the door, sidelights, & transom? Also, what is the ceiling height?I do not have that information. This was completed several years ago but to the best of my recollection it was all builder grade standard.

Commented: What is the paint & glaze color used? It is perfect!You can do gray. Just keep it a warm gray just in case there is a yellow or pink undertone in your white cabinets that you may not be spotting.
