About Us

Steve & Connie Diniz opened Diniz Design in 1994 after realizing there was a local need for a natural stone showroom in Baton Rouge. For the past twenty years, we have maintained our focus on natural stone while expanding to include the latest products and services. In our showroom, you will discover an extensive selection of materials including granite, marble, onyx, travertine, slate, limestone, quartzite, metal, glass, mosaics and more. Your countertops are fabricated onsite in our state of the art facility. We utilize various precision machines that allow us to produce finished products of any complexity including a waterjet for custom medallions or intricate inlays. Our knowledgeable design staff will assist you in choosing the material that fits your needs. We pride ourselves as being the only local showroom with a licensed interior designer and sales staff comprised entirely of interior design graduates. We will not only assist you in your selection but we will educate you on the care & maintenance of your natural stone. At Diniz Design, our goal is to provide the highest quality materials & superior craftsmanship for every job no matter how big or small. It’s all in the details!

Steve Diniz has helped us immensely throughout several renovations and projects. His design skills and knowledge and amazing and I would use him for just about anything as far as designing plans, implementing them and finding workmen who can carry out any renovation or building from scratch. Many thanks for all you have done to help us. There isn't anything you aren't capable of doing and doing so well.

Diniz Design has completed several renovation projects for me and I have been very pleased each time. They will walk you through the entire process to make sure you understand all available choices and selections. I plan to use them again soon for a shower demo!

We consulted Diniz Design before remodeling our house in the Bywater. Steve is very familiar with New Orleans architecture, materials, layouts, and HDLC, and I know whatever project he or his company take on will be high quality, beautiful, and respectful of local historical guidelines while thoughtful of modern necessities.

We used Diniz Design to redo our Master Bathroom. They measured and installed a gorgeous Carrera Slab and tub surround. They provided a basket weave for my shower floor. My favorite thing about working with Diniz is how easy it is to communicate with Brittany Brogan, one of their designers. No matter what I ask, she understands. She gathers the information and sends it to me in an easy and organized fashion with every detail covered. Over the years, I have worked with many design professionals and Brittany just "gets it". She makes the process so much easier!
