Paykel offers a good selection at a variety of prices. We worked with Moriah (she was sales and came to our home to measure and give us an estimate) and Dave (installation). Both Mariah and Dave knew their stuff. They also kept their commitments - they showed up when they said they would, Moriah patently took us through the options available to us, gave us a quote in a timely manner and Dave did a great installation job. They were a pleasure to work. We would use Paykel again.

Commented: Could this port. gel fireplace be placed in a traditional fireplace?Despite being made with glass I can't see how putting this in a confined area would be an issue. This is an ethanol burner which doesn't need any type of venting as it burns clean. I think it would be...

Commented: Is the Fireplace a Gas Fireplace?Have to agree with the pro above^ it looks like a wood burning unit (which may or may not have a gas line running to it) with real wood logs and a freestanding screen in front of it.
