Ralph Zamoyski Design

This is the third project Ralph Zamoyski Design has completed for us. The first was a basement renovation including cabinets, stone feature walls, bar, gas fireplace, ceiling, lighting and flooring. The second was a large master bathroom redesign to remove a jet tub, install his/her sinks, steam shower, in-floor electric heat, textured ceiling ... and an additional closet wall unit and lighting in the attached master bedroom. Given our satisfaction we recently hired Mr. Zamoyski to design and install a feature wall unit in our new condominium, re-configure electrical in two areas and paint. The project cost below reflects only this work. Ralph has the ability to both make design recommendations and do the actual work. He also has a network of consistent specialists to call on when a unique skill (eg. electric) is needed. The end product matters to him. This results in clarity before the work begins ... the finished product contract for, on time for a fair price upon completion.

I hired Ralph, based on a recommendation of a friend of mine, to replace my deck and install the structure for a cover over a portion of the the deck. Ralph was very professional, paid attention to the fine details and ensured all codes were met. He accommodated several minor changes we made and still kept to his budget and completed the project when they said they would.. He also stands behind his work and was quick to return this spring to repair board i noticed was starting to lift. Ralph has been completing work for myself and members of my family for more than two decades. The most recent project he completed for me was finishing and repairing incomplete items and deficiencies that the home builder could not not finish. The most significant item was an attached, second floor deck which leaked into the main floor front entry. This had been a problem since we moved in during the Calgary floods in May 2013. Ralph conducted independent research and carefully planned a strategy. He has a broad set of skills in multiple traders and very high standards of quality and cleanliness. Ralph fixed the leaking deck and created a finish and re-surfacing that far exceeded the original. Ralph has done everything from painting, plumbing, repairs full bathroom renos on three of our homes over the years and we have always been extremely satisfied at the quality of the work and the fairness of the invoice.

I hired Ralph to do some work for me in the fall of 2014. The work was completed in the timeframe he quoted and within the cost he quoted. I was very pleased with the finished product and with the very professional way in which he did the job. I would certainly recommend Ralph to others.
