My wife first met Robert approx. 2 years ago when a neighbor had a Murphy bed installed in her home. She was very impressed by his professionalism and dedication to his work. He offered to come to our house and look at things to suggest options for us, even though he knew we weren't looking to get things done for another year or two. We finally went back to his shop a couple of months ago with pictures of our space. He ended up spending almost 3 hours with us on a Sunday afternoon, painstakingly hearing us out and coming up with a preliminary design on a real-time basis. After that, once we had a general idea of what we wanted to do, he promptly sent us a detailed proposal shortly after. To further finalize things, he then came over our house one evening, spent another 2-3 hours taking measurements and finalizing the designs. During that whole time, he was completely honest on what he thought would work, and what wouldn't look good - and he was completely right! The work was completed a few weeks later ahead of schedule. He and his assistant personally spent almost 12 hours installing everything, and did great work taking care of every detail. All in all, its very clear that Rob not only enjoys what he does, but takes great pride in his work. We were very satisfied with the product, and would wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone looking to add great functionality to any space without taking up a whole lot of room w/ bulky furniture!

We received excellent customer service from both the sales representative (including an in-depth tour of the company showroom) and the installation workers. The sales rep. helped us find an excellent match for furniture that we had for our guest room already and created a perfectly measured system with drawers and side cabinetry. The installation workers were respectful and extremely efficient. What we thought could be a challenge to bring the unit up a narrow staircase to a narrow bedroom door opening, was handled expertly. I would definitely consider More Space Place for other needs in our home.

More Space Place installed a custom-designed wall unit with two pull-down twin beds, shelving, drawers and pull-out nightstands. It transformed my client's junked-up "extra" room into a beautiful guest room for two, plus a home office/study when the beds are folded up. More Space Place staff were helpful and worked with me in realizing my design/concept all the way, solved problems enthusiastically, and the end result is really beautiful and functional. The installation crew was extremely professional and did a lovely job. I will definitely recommend them to my future home restyling clients.

More space place installed our Jefferson Library bed. They were fantastic, helpful, and professional at every stage of the process from our visit to the showroom/factory, to helping with design, to arranging installation. More Space Place turned our old, tired-looking guest room into a gorgeous study. We now have a large, beautiful curved desk with supporting units of file drawers; a wall unit with lots of storage; a comfy small sofa, and a Murphy Bed that has gotten great reviews from house guests. We were so pleased with More Space Place that we had them install new sliding doors for our home office as well as the study. The designer, Michelle, is very creative and knowledgeable about the myriad options available; and the installation team was courteous and efficient.

We're thrilled with our closet! Not only does it look and work beautifully, but the whole project was finished on time within the limited time we had. The installers came when scheduled, and left the closet clean and ready to re-fill. They were able to adjust the design to an unexpected and unavoidable change. Everyone (sales, design, installation) was a pleasure to deal with. This is our second experience with MSP and we highly recommend them to anyone who asks.

Being a DIY'r myself and after searching the internet for a couple months for a high end Library style Murphy Bed system, I was excited to find some affordable ones that I could install myself. To my dismay, after reading the reviews closely, I became concerned about stated issues such as product quality, alignment of machined holes for match up of sections, deliverability, and last but not least the realization of managing the drop ship of several pallets of heavy, oversized wood to the front door of the condo building that I would have to quickly move into our condo. After mulling over these concerns and challenges, I decided to look more closely at full service local companies and see what they had to offer. To make a long story short, we searched and found More Space Place (MSP) and met with Michelle, their sales representative. Michelle steered us through their offerings and installation photos. We just didn't find one that tickled our fancy for a contemporary high end look. We found a photo they had though of a very high end, contemporary California home which showed an installation (not theirs) with customized, built-in shelving, drawers, work/play area with the Murphy panel bed built into the system giving it a sleek appearance. We asked her if we could do something on that order? We went through MSP's endless line of finish samples and came up with a perfect match for our condo guest bedroom that gave us that sleek contemporary look, yet provided much needed functionality for office/arts/crafts work space, filing space, display shelving, down & accent lighting, as well as our essential Murphy panel bed. We got it all to meet our very selective taste. MSP was very responsive to meet our needs and even allowed us to customize the hardware and door pulls. I have a very happy wife now, I might add!

More Space is a great company to work with. We hired More Space to design and install an office setup in our recently purchased condo. Robert Meyers was great to work with. He designed measured and even helped with the install. Everything fit perfectly. He guided his crew with the installation to his impeccable standards. After the installation, we found a couple of small things that we wanted to adjust and he was prompt in getting back to us and working with us. He is such a pleasure to work with. He also designed a simple but effective closet system for us. He does not try to sell more than you need or want.

Great design of Murphy bed along with desk, drawers, and shelving for room, along with some unique features. Widely admired - featured on condominium's home tour. Measurements were precise. Immediate response when problem arose a year after installation.

I generally do not give Web endorsements but this is truly an exception. In mid May 2014 I met with a Company representative and we discussed various Murphy Bed/Cabinet plans for my Condo. The plans were computerized and priced on site. I expressed my concern that my daughter was arriving in four weeks and that MSP states approx. six weeks plus for installation. Within four weeks I was contacted for an installation date....amazing. The installers showed on time but we found the four side cabinets to be the wrong depth. Not the end of the world as my daughter would have a place to sleep. The install team contacted their shop and I was told that they would return to rework the cabinets and still complete the install on the same day. I was completely amazed to see the installers return (same day) with the cabinets and not receive the apologetic phone call. The install team was very professional, courteous and answered all questions. My total experience went above all expectations, from the Design Specialist to the final install. I would highly recommend using MSP of Chantilly, Virginia for any bed or cabinetry design and install.
