Rock Water Farm

We requested a quote from Rock Water Farm for bed weeding and maintenance for the summer of 2022. After receiving the quote and a reasonable price of $71 biweekly for this service, I signed up. The salesperson informed me that the first weeding would be hourly but never indicated the hourly rate. After this initial cleaning I received a bill for over $500. I called the office to try and understand why the bill was so high. They explained that they had sent 3 workers and they had spent 3 hours working on the property. This meant they were charging me approximately $180 per hour for weeding. I talked to the salesman and told him that he had not given me the hourly rate and that rate was way to0 high and I would not have agreed to it had he informed me of the rate. He said he would talk to the owner and when he called back, informed me the owner had said that was the standard rate, it was on the quote and that is what I would have to pay. I asked to speak to the owner directly and they refused. The salesperson then sent me a copy of the "quote" which showed the hourly rate. As I reviewed this quote which I had no record of receiving, I noticed the quote date and the other items on the quote were after the service date. I sent him the quotes I had received via e-mail and told him the quote he had sent was fake since it was AFTER the date they performed the service. I again asked to speak to the owner. I really didn't understand how they could have worked that long, so I reviewer my ring cameras to see. Upon that review, I realized that the entire 3-person crew sat down and took a 40-minute lunch (all 3) during the "billable period". I also noticed that when they arrived, they damaged my mailbox and spent 15 minutes trying to fix it or atleast hide the damage. I then tried to contact the owner several more times to inform them of these situations, but the owner continued to refuse my calls and the salesperson told me he could not do anything without the owner's consent. Now, the company has sent my bill to collections. Why?

They worked with us on design ideas and was very accommodating in meeting our needs. They used top quality materials in completing our new stone portico and walkway which integrated seamlessly with the existing stone facia. Unlike other contractors we've worked with in the past, their estimates to start and complete the work were spot on. We love the new entryway and would recommend this company to anyone interested in a top quality contractor.

We are very pleased with our Rock Water Farm flagstone and hand cut cut stone breezeway entry, four levels of patios and stairs. A unique two-level design main patio, fireplace, separate cooking station patio off the breezeway, and separate patio below the deck, all using natural 3-4 inch thick hand cut stone and flag stone completes our back yard. The classic hard scape design makes a beautiful and appropriate natural setting on our fully mature wooded lot. The professionalism, stone craftsmanship knowledge, expertise, attention to detail and excellent customer service made for a very worthwhile investment that we and our family will enjoy for years. Rock Water installed a gorgeous flagstone patio with large rocks forming the bench seat behind a fire pit area at the rear of our house They also installed a custom large natural rock staircase made of large stone imported from a neighboring State. The stone for the patio was custom cut and extremely well done. The crew was superb and respectful and timely finished everything. We had taken bids from a variety of contractors who were really pushing pavers. Rock Water came in with a greatly improved design and far superior install plan (concrete and flagstone) to anything we had received from the competition for the patio. The stairway was also wonderfully executed and turned out beautifully-all at very competitive pricing and rock solid experience and trustworthiness. Superb on design insights as well.
