Sam's Ceramic Tile, Kitchen & Bath

We recently completed a project to renovate and remodel two full bathrooms in our home. We used Sam's to help us with the design and all materials for the project. They were terrific to work with and they provided us with great support throughout the project. They began by helping us to design a layout that allowed us to make the best possible use of all of the available space in both bathrooms. They patiently worked through several iterations of the layout with us. Next, they helped us to select from their extensive collections of tiles, fixtures, and cabinets the ones that best suited our project. Here again, they carefully listened to our preferences and tastes and helped us to select the styles and materials that best suited our budget and our preferences. There were a few times during the project when the contractor needed clarification on some aspect of the plan. The guys from Sam's worked closely with the contractor to keep the project on schedule. They were a pleasure to work with and we highly recommend them.

My wife and I had been considering having our old Mexican Quarry Tiles removed from our kitchen and replaced by something more modern. My wife was born with a physical disability, so any new tile flooring would have to meet our specifications for color, size, shape, durability, price and surface friction. The last category was important in case the new tile got wet, my wife or anyone else would not slip and get hurt. Over the course of a year, we visited all of the major tile/flooring centers in Westchester. Eventually, we went to Sam's Ceramic in Mahopac. The showroom is large with a great variety of tiles and kitchen/bath designs. We met with the staff who were highly professional, courteous, and knowledgeable about their products. The staff gave us individual attention and did not make us feel rushed or pressured into making a decision. After taking a few sample tiles home, we decided on a porcelain tile that met our specifications. Once the room was measured and the proper quantities of tile and our choice of grout color was made, the order was placed It was processed very quickly. Sam's worked with us to determine when the installation would take place. When the project started, we met with Aaron who is a master craftsman when it comes to working with tile. The job took three days for the removal of the old tile, the laying down of new sub-flooring in spots, the installation and finally the grouting. During the entire time that the work crew was with us, the were extremely neat, highly professional and most importantly of all, they cared about their workmanship. After each day's job was finished, the men completely cleaned up the work area. Each morning, they would repaper the floor areas not being worked on and put wall barriers up to stop the spread of dust throughout the house. The bottom line for all of this is: Sam's Ceramic was the right place for us to go to. The staff knows their product and is more than willing to work with you to meet your needs. The installers were very, very good. They took their time to make sure the job was done correctly. The finished floor is absolutely gorgeous and there isn't a single mistake anywhere. Lastly, the prices that we paid for the tiles, installation, the grout, sealer, sub-flooring and removal of the old tiles was well worth it. When work is done with this level of quality and professional pride, it makes you realize just how special Sam's Ceramic really is.
