I had a terrible experience with Linda (the owner of Schoener) after working with her company for over four years and spending a significant amount of money. I was personally offended by how I was treated, and regret having given her my business. Here was my experience… The day before I left for vacation, a vendor of Schoener’s came over to install eight drapery panels, which looked great on installation. As it turned out, however, a few of the drapery panels had several small stains on them, which I noticed when I happened to be looking closely at the fabric upon my return from vacation. I called Schoener, expecting them to make it right and it all went downhill from there. The designer I had been working with escalated the issue to Linda, who was emphatic that the vendor did not make the stains and therefore, the stains had to have happened at my house. When I pressed my case, I found out that the drapery fabric was discontinued and therefore the drapes could not be remade… so I had paid Schoener full retail price for a fabric that had been discontinued. At Linda’s suggestion, I called Coit Upholstery Cleaners to clean the drapes, but Coit advised against it. I continued to ask for help, but Linda made it clear she would not touch the drapes. Her final piece of advice was that I box them up and ship them to a cleaner in Oregon – at my risk and cost. She had zero interest in helping me, a long-time customer. As a last resort, I asked for a partial credit back on the cost of the drapes since I was going to have to take on the risk, cost and time associated with trying to remedy this situation I did not cause. That seemed reasonable since I had given Schoener so much past business, the fact that the drapes could not be remade, and that I had paid full retail price. Linda didn’t even have the courtesy to respond to my email. That was it, I never heard from her again. Throughout this entire ordeal, Linda’s position was that her company was not liable for any of the damage because I accepted delivery of the drapes from her vendor without carefully inspecting over 1,300 sq ft of fabric and panels as tall as 8 feet (never mind that nobody from Schoener even bothered to show up at the install). When you think you are dealing with a reputable company, and pay the kind of mark-ups Schoener charges, you assume you are receiving quality product and don’t need to inspect it as if it came from a discount warehouse. You also assume that if something goes wrong, a reputable company would do whatever they could, within reason, to make it right. As the owner of Schoener, Linda could have done something, anything, to help (and retain) a long-time customer. She did nothing. I am now left with $10,000 stained drapes and regret having given her my business all these years.

We hired Brian Schoener and his group to do a full kitchen remodel for us earlier this year. We were happy with all aspects of their work. Brian helped us with all details including removing walls, new layout, cabinet design and placement, and materials selection. Brian was available anytime we had questions and managed the project quite accurately to the initial timeline he had drawn up. Our house is over 100 years old so had it's unique challenges, but they were able to deal with anything that came up. His lead carpenter was also very experienced and conscientious about his work. We have recommended Schoener to our friends and colleagues as well, top notch work!

Each time I visit Henredon & Schoener, I see something new and perfect for my home. From the smallest accessories on the shelves to the well-appointed furniture in the showroom vignettes, each item is displayed stylishly. The team at Henredon & Schoener makes you feel welcome and treats everyone with care and respect whether you spend $50 or $10,000, are wearing sweat pants or a suit. I highly recommend them!

I have worked with Linda Schoener to furnish my home. When we sold our home in Kirkland, WA, everyone walking through the home loved our furnishings and wanted them included in the offers. Now we are living in Boise, ID and going through a home sale with the same interest in our furniture. Our broker had a broker's open as well as a public open house. She said everyone going through the home commented on how unique and beautiful our furnishings were - they wanted to know where I purchased my furniture. We had an offer asking we leave our furniture...that's just not gonna happen! I miss going to Henredon & Schoener's Bellevue location and getting their help finding what I've tasked them to locate. We were very pleased with our experience with Henredon & Schoener. We upgraded our small master bath (floor tile, quartz countertop, fixtures, tile and glass shower, toilet, sinks, paint, vent). We appreciated the professional manner in how the project manager and team worked with us. Very polite, very pleasant, great team. The project was ahead of schedule for the most part and the estimate held. The tile guy was top notch. What we appreciated the most was the design advice we got and how we were given a sample before moving forward. We would definitely do another project with them.

We were very pleased and satisfied with Henredon & Schoener's design and execution of our master bath remodel and numerous other upgrades to our 28-year old home. They clearly presented the proposed design, pricing and schedule, and then selected highly skilled subcontractors who were easy to have working around our house during the project. Any (minor) problem that came up was quickly addressed and resolved to our satisfaction. We really enjoy living in our remodeled and updated home and have received many compliments about the results. We have had 2 remodels through Henredon & Schoener. Brian was the Project Manager on both remodels. One of the remodels was extensive, most of the house. He and his team listened to our desires for the spaces and provided excellent ideas, many of which we would never have thought about on our own. The contractors they brought to the job were competent and courteous. We loved the outcomes on both projects, our home looks as good or better than we had envisioned. We have recommended them to a number of our friends and neighbors.

High End Kitchen, Bathrooms, Wood Work Detailing, Cabinets and Book Shelves. The work was performed in a professional, creative fashion. Designer was very hands on and made sure the project was up to his satisfaction and on time.

Henredon & Schoeners Interiors has been invaluable in their assisting us with redecorating and redesigning our houses. They are creative, thoughtful and fun to work with. We've worked with them for over ten years between two different houses.

They have done many projects for me over the years, but the largest project was a large custom home, and the end result was spectacular!! They have fantastic ideas and suggestions, and a great resource of high quality products and artesian contractors. I loved everything they did.

When we renovated our house it included the kitchen, dining room, livingroom, bar, TV-room, lounge, master bedroom, master bathroom and guest room. In other words, it was a total remodeling of our 9000 sqf home. The work together with Henredon & Schoener was great! We had a lot of ideas that we wanted to materialize, Henredon & Schoener also had great ideas of what and how you could do just that and also additional ideas to go with it. We felt that the collaboration had a perfect balance as in a good team work, there was no feeling of prestige in the creative process, they were very accurate in there work, very good at keeping deadlines and being on time, the feeling of getting great/luxurious service and feel important as a customer was all there for us. The attitude, in all levels in the company, that nothing was impossible, in contrary, everything IS possible was a very impressive and great experience for us through the 6 months we worked together. A couple of things that also stands out with Henredon & Schoener is that the company feels like one big family working together, the fact that they have a great showroom, their stor in Bellevue, makes it som much easier in the creative process to find your way, their flexibility to take back a piece of furniture or lamp etc. and exchange it if it didn't "fit in" as you thought is impeccable. To go through a big remodeling can be a stressful and hard time, but Henredon & Schoener proved that to work with professionals with great attitudes can make it in to a fun and very enjoyable journey.
