A complete disaster. Scott submitted our plans a month later than he told us he would, pushing our home renovation back over a month. (needed a variance when he told us we wouldn't) Then made multiple mistakes on the as built plans causing our framing inspection to be postponed for over two weeks, in the middle of winter with no insulation. Scott and his staff (especially Doran) are extremely unresponsive and rude. Wish I could give them zero stars.

We’re about to start our project, and we are thrilled with the plans Scott has given us. He has truly collaborated with us - he took the best of our ideas and added things we had never considered. Scott was extremely responsive to questions/concerns we had about the plans and kept tweaking them until they were perfect. Highly recommend!

I hired Oyster Bay Drafting to design an extension on my home. After 4 months of waiting for the preliminary drawings and a number of emails it was discovered that Scott was sending the drawings to an incorrect email address. After pointing out the error to Scott he went silent and offered no apology. After asking repeatedly for our deposit back and for our contract to be terminated Scott refused both and offered only to expedite the project. He also advised me that, "Customer service is a two-way street." I have been in the construction industry for 20 years and a business owner for 12. I have to disagree. I feel as a consumer your part of the transaction is to pay, which I did, on time, the amount requested. I would not recommend Oyster Bay Drafting.

My husband and I had the opportunity to work with Scott Kahn to design a project house that we are in the process of building on the North Fork. He was very easy to work with and was able to take our ideas and put them on paper, so we could submit and get building permits. It was a pretty seamless process. We were given bids ranging from $4000 to $20,000. Oyster Bay Drafting was very competitive and a good value for the work provided.
