Having known Susan for many years I knew she was the person to design the linen closet for my 1910 home. The catch was, she is in Baltimore, and I am in San Diego, CA. The closet went in today and I am over the moon happy with the result. We discussed my needs for storage as well as the need for the closet to blend with the historic home, and the small space I had available. I measured and sent photos. Susan emailed a plan, I approved it. Susan sent plan to SD Closet Factory who came and checked the measurements and with in about a week, they came out and installed. A+++

This was my first project with Susan and Closet Factory, but it definitely wont be my last! I had a vision in my mind for a built-in armoire in the master bedroom. I met with a few different companies to get quotes, but they didn't really understand my vision. Susan got it immediately and went to work designing a unit that would fit the space perfectly. She worked with me to understand my budget and make sure I was taking advantage of the available promotions. She provided great recommendations regarding the dimensions, cabinet colors (to match my plantation shutters), knobs, etc. I would definitely recommend Susan for your storage needs!

Susan is amazing! I have done 7 projects with her and I'm trying to figure out what could be next. Organization is a game changer and Susan does a fantastic job, listening, questioning, recommending and making adjustments to meet your needs down to the smallest detail. She has never pushed me into a decision because it was easier or better for her commission. She has great ideas and thinks of things that I never would have. She is responsive and does whatever it takes to get the job done. Calls at 9pm, picking out special hooks because I didn't quite like the ones in the catalog. I have had 3 bedroom closets, an office closet, an office wall unit, a mudroom and a storage closet done with Susan and they are all perfect and have given me more space and organization. She is an expert at what she does and I have recommended her several times.

We are repeat clients of The Closet Factory, but this was our first time working with Susan Bengel. It was a dressing room project in a new home that prompted our call. But we were so impressed by Susan's talent and professionalism that we used her to design a couple of smaller projects too, like a wine cellar made of solid maple, and a changing room for the pool. I first met Susan 10 years ago when I hired Closet Factory to design closets for my soon-to-be-born twins, our master bedroom closet, and our guest closet.
