Nonresponsive, unprofessional, doesn't hold up to their end of the contract. In my experience, I would never do business with again.

Smart AV installed Lutron lighting and shades for my new home.  My home is 4500 sq. ft. I knew what I wanted but didn’t have a clue what kind of shades or fabrics to choice. Laura was my designer and she was simply wonderful. She brought all kinds of same fabrics and a motorized shade to show me how it all worked. Once we decided on what I wanted it took about 3 weeks before the shades showed up.  Three weeks later she called to set up an installation date for me. Juan was my installer and his team was awesome. They did such a beautiful job with the installation and they even set up my Alexa to work with voice commands. It was a really nice detail. I could not be happier. They really worked hard to get me the best price and the whole experience was outstanding.

I recently moved into a new home that was sold with smart home technology already in place. To me and my husband, these features were a positive upgrade but definitely uncharted territory -- we needed some direction and our realtor didn't have the technical know-how to give us any help that's where the guys at Smart AV came in. After speaking with a lovely young lady on the phone, she scheduled a time that worked best for me and my husband. We chose the weekend because we both work during the week. Our technician's name was Mark. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the home automation we currently had in place. Since this system had been programmed to the previous homeowners liking, he took the time to customize and reprogram it to our current needs. He even took the time to teach us how to use it since we were such newbies.  It's been over three weeks now since our appt. with Mark and our automation is working flawlessly still. I actually can't imagine going back to a home without it. I can't say enough about the quality of customer service I received from the team of talented technicians over at Smart AV but they were phenomenal!! I will definitely be using them for future home upgrading projects! The professionals at Smart AV are the REAL DEAL. Thank you!!

I had Smart AV Group install a TV & soundbar for me in my living room. The challenge was I had no walls to hang the TV. I was quoted well over $1500.00 by another company and I felt like it was just too expensive. A friend of my recommended Juan and his team so I gave them a call. They gave me a quote to hang the TV and install my soundbar. The quote was less than a third of what the other company wanted, and they did an amazing job. They hung the TV in the corner of my living room on a steel pipe (part of the home construction. I have exposed steel beams in my house.) I don't know how they did it but it was exactly what I wanted. I was so pleased with the work I had them come back and install new Qmotion shades in 4 rooms. Laura was very helpful and was able to get the exact color I wanted for my rooms. well done guys!! Thank you!!!

I called Smart AV Development Group to upgrade our home theater. The system we had was outdated and was in desperate need of an upgrade. They came highly recommended by a work associate. I meet with Roman, he was very knowledgeable of the latest audio/video technology. When they came to begin the installation, they took great care in installing the equipment right down to wearing booties and laying down drop cloths to avoid any sort of mess during the installation. Their attention to detail was spot on. They even patched and painted the speaker wire access holes (I wanted the left and right floor speakers moved to the corners of the room.) I really appreciate Roman and his team. We are very happy with our new home theater. Thanks again!

We just recently bought a house and wanted to install a complete home theater in our basement. After doing some research, I came across Smart AV Group and decided to have them come out and give us an estimate. Juan was very professional he provided us options for our theater, but also educated us on different systems and setups they recommended. I was presented with two different quotes per my request. It really showed us what we could expect depending on how fancy we wanted to go. They started on a Wednesday and were finished on Friday. I ended up with a great theater and the sound is amazing. It is our favorite room to be in when we are home for the winter. They did a great job and we will be referring them to our friends and neighbors in the area and will be using them again.

My house was originally set up with Crestron. 5 years later the Crestron system was nothing but a headache. Nothing was working and when I called Crestron to get an update, I was quoted well over $35k. I called a few other companies, and no one was able to convince me they knew how to take me from Crestron to a new smart home system. I did look at control4 but was told by the tech that they could not take over my Lutron Homeworks lighting and would need to upgrade my house lighting system. I then had Smart AV come out and do an evaluation on the system. Roman was my Technician. We talked about what I wanted to do and he came back 2 days later with a complete RTI system quote which included removing Crestron. He assured me that he could complete the job without having to replace any of my home lighting or shade systems. I now have full voices controls using Alexa and I can control every feature of my home. I have lighting, shades, whole house audio, pool controls & a completely new home theater with a 75” Sony TV. Smart AV finished under my budget which allowed me to add 4 new TVs in my bedrooms. Roman and Juan installed the 4 additional TVs in a day. The system has never worked better. The whole conversion took about 6 days to complete. They are great when it comes to tech support and have always gotten back to me in a timely matter whenever I needed help or a question. These guys are pros and really knew what they are doing. I highly recommend Smart AV!!

Roman was quick to return my inquiry regarding repair of my home entertainment system.  He was efficient in diagnosing the problem, providing options for repair and scheduled an immediate appointment to complete the work prior to weekend of my Halloween party.  I would highly recommend Smart AV Group.  Quick, efficient, knowledgeable, trustworthy and professional service are clearly represented in Roman and Smart AV Group.  Thank you also for providing such superior work for a fair price.

We took our home down to the studs and started over again. Then when we were adding our technology, the company we started with kept destroying things. Thankfully we found James and all our prayers were answered. SUCH PROFESSIONALISM!! James, Laura and his crew came in accessed what we needed, corrected all the mistake that had been made and perfected our home. They even added things we didn't know existed and we use DAILY. Our home works so well, and if on a day things aren't going well (usually operator error, you mean Alexa doesn't know that word?), they are ALWAYS there to support us. We are in San Diego and still have support each and every time we need it. I LOVE this company. Our home is so advanced that we were featured in a magazine. We couldn't have done it so smoothly without James, Laura and the crew. Double points because they are very involved with dog rescue and love animals at least as much a I do, if not more.

I can't say enough for how professional and courteous these guys are. It makes a world of difference when you are looking for speakers, electronics, wiring, computer networking, and pretty much all home entertainment and even home security needs, that the person installing knows what they're doing and when they are passionate about their profession and even more passionate about helping and connecting with people you truly know you are in good hands. James came by today and opened my eyes to how to properly set up an entire home entertainment system. I take music pretty seriously and I have sensitive ears so when James educated me on proper speakers, equalization, and installation I was super stoked after getting it done. These guys were a one stop shop for me when it came to upgrading my "dumb" home to a smart one! They added smart energy efficient fan lighting, shades and even had a tile guy, a painter and a cabinet guy recommendation - all worked out very well! They really had every resource I needed to complete my summer project and get my house ready to put on the market.
