South Fork Design Group is a professional design firm dedicated to helping you move your design from concept to completed construction with as much or as little help as necessary.
South Fork Design Group was formed in 2006 near the South Fork of the Snake River in response to a general call from contractors and tradesmen in the Southeastern Idaho area who wanted design and engineering services that could be customized in a flexible manner and allow for greater affordability.
Our lead engineer and founder, Ray McDougal P.E., opened the doors to the company specifically to meet this need and to provide a place for contractors and homeowners to come where they can speak with professionals and receive advice without paying a premium to do it. We have had a great response from our clients in Utah, Wyoming, Montana and Idaho. Much of our work has been in the beautiful Island Park area near Yellowstone National Park. We utilize state-of-the-art technology to produce quality plans that save time and money.
