About Us

Craftsmen Quality Builders have over 40 years of shared experience in the building industry working on various projects including new builds, renovations and extensions. Our passion is building eco-friendly, low-energy consuming homes using sustainable materials. Stuart is a Registered Builder, Accredited Green Living Builder and a Certified Passive House Tradesperson. What is a Passive House? A Passive House is a home built specifically to provide clean, fresh air and maintain a consistent temperature (between 20° – 25°) all year round, requiring minimal heating or cooling systems. Our passion is to build eco friendly, low-energy consuming homes using sustainable materials where we can. A key principle of our building practice is to respect the earth that gives us life and do what we can to minimise the consumption of unsustainable products. This includes finding better ways to manage waste disposal, utilising grey water and building towards carbon neutral.

Stuart is a passionate builder with an interest in building highly sustainable passive houses. His attention to detail would put others to shame, it seems like nothing is too difficult for him. He has a good understanding of all aspects of the building industry, has a good team working with him. He is not afraid of challenges, listens, suggest ideas and comes up with solutions. Stuart and Carlo (and their network of trades) have helped me build my new Passive House (LE) to a level I could only have dreamt about. They have taken ownership of key elements of the project despite me being a first time owner builder; a safe set of hands.
