I knew I had a tough fireplace job given my old 1800's house, iffy chimney, very small fireplace opening...and two other companies turned it down. But Twin Cities Fireplace came and evaluated it (thank you Jim!) and said, "I think we can do it" and indeed, with a good deal of grit and perseverance, they installed a beautiful gas fireplace and it looks like it was always there. Such an incredible job by Matt and John-thank you. I really don't think I would have gotten one if it were not for you guys. Forever grateful.

No company is perfect and often the only reviews people bother to give are bad ones. Let me be the one to tell you that Twin City Fireplace does professional, Top notch fireplace and stone installation. I have used them on my projects for years and will continue to do so.

Who installs a fireplace and gives you no way to tum it on? My contractor recommended going through Twin Cities Fireplace because their wait time was shorter than other local companies. The fireplace works fine but it took over a month of multiple phone calls to and from Beth just to get a remote. She said that a technician needed to install it, then scheduled him at a time I couldn’t be home, and never answered her phone to reschedule it. I am scared to see what happens the next time I have a problem.

I scheduled an appointment with Twin City Fireplace to replace some melted electronics in my home fireplace. I sent them photos of the fireplace and melted/broken parts. When the service technician showed up, he immediately informed me that their company does not work on my model, or on the electrical parts of any fireplace. The service tech said they had to charge me for the service call, so he’d clean it for me, but after he left, I saw that not only was the fireplace still dirty, he had seriously damaged and chipped the logs and bricks in at least half a dozen places with his vacuum. The company then charged my credit card $229.99, and have stonewalled all of my phone calls and emails requesting for my money back. I told them specifically, and included photos of what needed to be done weeks before my appointment, so I shouldn’t have been charged for a service call in the first place. In addition, I sent them photos of the damage their technician did, but they didn’t care. All in all, this place was a total scam - show up, do nothing, and charge the customer anyway. And - $229.99 for a service call??? I ended up calling the manufacturer of my fireplace, and they sent me the parts I needed for less than $20!!
