The Wooden Box Cabinet Company

Justin Hodges who is the owner of this company agreed to do bead board installation in my laundry room. Three times he was a NO SHOW to start the work. I paid him 100% up front - in good faith because he said he was allocating money towards his kids Xmas and he is my neighbor so I trusted him. As a client I had to continuously hunt him down every time he was a no show to start the project and he was full of excuses every time! 1) "A pipe busted"; 2) "a guy didn't show"; 3) "family member died"; 4) "going to chiropractor"; 5) "rescued in Abilene at 11:30pm"; 6) "going to the spine doctor" - excuses, excuses, excuses. He agreed to refund my money on 12/16/2015 and again he is a no show!! I am now perusing this in small claims court! DO NOT GIVE HIM MONEY TO START A JOB. As a business owner, he needs to know that he needs to finance his own projects and get paid AFTER CUSTOMERS ARE 100% SATISFIED like other businesses. He did install cabinets in my laundry room and although the process took longer that it should have (again because of his schedule) - I was willing overlook this because he said he wanted to allocate money for his kids Xmas and he is my neighbor. I was a sucker, and he knew it!!

Update: I have been given a full refund for my money. The owner has apologized and re-apologized for his egregious lack of response and customer service for the bead board installation project. The Wooden Box also installed cabinets in my laundry room and I am more less happy with them. I believe he will walk the straight and narrow path from this point forward with future clients. This company is a 1 man show and Justin Hodges who is the owner of this company is a continuous NO SHOW to get the work completed. As a client I was very flexible in accommodating his long absences in trying to work with his schedule because he is my neighbor. However, once you give him money you won't see him and you will have to continuously hunt him down to find out if he will show up to the scheduled dates to do the work!! I am currently in the process of taking him to small claims court to get a 100% refund of my money for work he has continuously failed to show up to start. DO NOT GIVE HIM MONEY. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY.

I was in a bind and needed to find someone to install euro hinges into several vanity cabinets for me. I jumped on Houzz and searched for cabinet makers in my area. One told me to try a handyman and another told me the job wasn't big enough for them. When I spoke to Justin from The Wooden Box Cabinet Company, he responded by saying he was in my area and would come over to look at the cabinets. After he got here, he quoted me a very reasonable price, took the cabinet doors and returned the following day with them completed. He was awesome!

Remember how good customer service used to be? It drives me nuts spending money with a company and not getting treated as a priority! Dealing with The Wooden Box was very seamless and enjoyable. It's not as quick as going through the Home Depot or something, but this is CUSTOM cabinetry! They built a great looking kitchen remodel for me and my family. They did everything from coming up with a custom design in 3D to show me the space, and then making it look exactly like that on install! Would highly recommend using them!

I have been wanting to put in a shelving unit since we purchased our home in 2005 however everyone that qouted me wanted to put in something bulky or cheaply made. I had TWB qoute me for what I wanted and not only did they give me a great deal but they were able to make renderings to show me what exactly was going to be built, with the products used and the exact dimensions. They were very quick and professional with the whole process. I would definitly use them again, and am seriously considering for the mud room and kitchen. You wont be disapointed with the quality.
