Todd identified right away the look and feel of the house I wanted once he saw the property; he said "I see a modern river house". He worked with me until we got the plans just right and I couldn't be happier. It is exactly what I wanted.

Todd has been amazing through all of our projects. We initially met him in 2015 with a plan to do an addition on our south tampa home. When it looked like we were in over our head with plans he was so kind and refunded us. Fast forward to 2020 and we are in a new home and I immediately contacted todd to design a front porch addition and driveway. Todd is thorough, meticulous and his designs are beautiful!

We’ve worked with Todd for over two years designing and building a modern custom house. Todd is not only an extraordinarily talented architect, but also a pleasure to work with. He patiently guided us through the design process, beginning with a list of design elements that were most important to us. As you can see from his portfolio of projects, he is very diverse in his design style. He approached our project as a blank canvas and collaborated with us extensively to build a common vision for the house. He was very creative throughout the process and came up with some really innovative ideas for the house. I had the pleasure of working as interior designer on a home designed by Todd. The home was a 5000 plus sq. ft. custom waterfront home. Todd delivered a home design that was stunning and exceeded the clients expectations. He listens carefully to his clients and was open to our collaboration. Todd is by far the BEST!!! His design was amazing. The placement of the windows to capture the beauty of Beach Park is breathtaking. Our lot was not very big and he was able to maximize the space to give us everything we wanted!!! Would work with him all over again!!!!

We hired Hittmeier Design to design our custom home in South Tampa and are extremely happy with the design process and the final outcome. Todd is classically trained and managed to take our long wish list and design a beautiful home that can be built within our construction budget. This was our first experience designing a custom home and we didn't know what architectural style we wanted. All we had was a wish list of layout items and a request for our home to follow a defined style. Todd gathered our wishes and style preferences and then suggested the perfect architectural style. He listens to his clients and is very patient with revision requests throughout the design process. He then went above and beyond when it came time for permitting by personally going into the City numerous times to resolve any questions they had. Being a civil engineer myself I know how frustrating reviewers can be and how many delays it can cause. If it were not for Todd our permit process would have taken much much longer. Other architects charge much more for the services that Todd provided so if you're looking for someone with big firm talent and customer service without paying the big firm prices then Hittmeier Design is the best choice!

We had a great experience designing our dream home with Todd. He is truly a creative genius who had great ideas and added just the right artistic flair to our home. He listened to what we wanted (or thought we wanted) and made it happen. The design changed significantly over time until all the puzzle pieces fell into place. Todd designed a home for my husband and I which is currently being built. He has been very easy to work with and committed to designing a home that fits our vision and needs. Todd’s design is truly one of a kind and unique in every way. He not only thought of exterior aesthetic design but how we will be using the inside of our home on a day to day basis.
