Super excited to be working with Tricia. She has taken even the simplest things we couldn't find words to communicate and has come up with the most amazing plans. Our family, young and old, furry and not so furry will find enjoyment in our outdoor space for years to come.

While designing our new home, we wanted to seek the advice of a landscape architect so our "outdoor room" would become an Integrated extension of our home.......in both design and scale. Tricia King did not disappoint! After meeting on site and seeing the house style and surrounding property, she was able to ask the pertinent questions which resulted in an effective,aesthetic and functional design plan. She was able to give us the 'big picture' so we could Implement the hardscaping, paths, walls, etc. Stepping back, it validated the ambience we were hoping to achieve. After those decisions, the selection of actual plant material was most enjoyable as Tricia schooled us in all our choices. Because Tricia listens to her clients and what they want to accomplish, ultimately the end result becomes OURS...... with her expertise, guidance, thoughtfulness and patience rounding out the enjoyable process!!!! She is such a joy to work with!!!!

Tricia was wonderful to work with! Loved her questionnaire at the beginning of our project - she immediately understood the importance/use of our outdoor space (including our children and animals in the overall plan). Her designs are beautiful and well thought out, utilizing native plants. She understood our desire for outdoor beauty, but also took into consideration our time for maintenance. Our home was transformed on the outside with her design and fantastic crew of installers. We have recommended her to several friends and would not hesitate to hire her again.

I can barely put into words how thrilled I have been with Tricia King and her design capabilities. We have worked together over the last decade transforming my property into an awarding winning landscape. It was done with forethought, but not all at once. Each year we would add a garden. or build a stone wall, or patio. The look is seamless, the last addition, the stone patio off a side deck mimics an opposing wall that was built 30 years ago. It is stunning. Now that Tricia has moved away from Vermont, I can barely make a move without texting her. I lost a plethera of plants over this last winter, and she is helping me with some redesign from afar. I tried to do some on my own, but I am paralyzed without her..... she knows my tastes better than I do!

Tricia designed the gardens at our new home, which is located on a north facing slope with heavy clay soils in a rural area of Vermont. She came up with a beautiful design that integrated seamlessly into the surroundings instead of looking like the yard was plopped down from anywhere USA. Tricia worked many native species of trees and shrubs into the design as well as choosing plants that would not be as appealing to the deer. After the gardens were initially planted, Tricia and i would get together at least once a year to do a " walk around" She and I would discuss what aspects of the garden were working well and what areas needed some additional attention. She was always very responsive to my input and ideas. I felt that over the six years that Tricia and I became a team and I miss her!

I would highly recommend Tricia - she is a wonderful warm and extemely talented landscape arthitect who is respectul of your budget and tastes We miss her in Vermont!
