About Us

I've owned my own Interior Design business for over 30 years. I graduated from the University of Dayton and started my own interior design business when I was young. My family and I have traveled and lived all over the United States and I've been continuing to decorate! Its my passion! I do a variety of work and have an eye for design! I have an extensive background in design and my work has been recognized in many model homes! I have relationships with vendors such as Duralee, Hunter Douglas, Waverly Schumacher, Pindler, Fabricut, Surya Rugs, and I'm a member of Pottery Barns Design Program. I use my design expertise to help you create the perfect vision for your home! I've worked on every type of design project. I've helped build and decorate homes from the ground up, worked on various kitchen and bath remodels, selecting furniture for your home, window treatments, fabrics, wallpaper, paint, blinds, rugs, decor and even decorating homes for the holidays! My husband and I have worked with Kathy's Decorating for about 10 years and it has continued to be a very pleasant experience. Kathi has a gift for transforming a room from drab to fab! She stays current with the latest trends but has helped guide us to designs and colors that last that won't be out of style in a year or two. Our most recent project with Kathi was our kitchen renovation. The result is beyond our imagination. Super functiona, tons of added storage and simply gorgeous. In addition to her design savvy, Kathi only uses trades people that do top notch work. They care about her clients being happy as much as she does and they are professional and competent. What keeps us going back to Kathi is that she is so easy to work with and really takes the time to know who we are and what style we're looking for. From big renovations to small decorating needs, Kathi's Decorating is who we will continue to go to and have several friends have now used her services with great results. If you're considering a project, we'd strongly recommend you connect with Kathi.

Kathi has helped me several times over the past ten years. Drapes, sofa, decorative pillows, coffee table, custom drapes and rods, custom treatment for glass doors, kitchen flooring, etc. I am always very pleased with the results; that's why she gets my repeat business. She quickly homes in on her clients tastes, budget and timing.. Excellent on suggestions, helpful tips, sample selections and options, quick with results and she has an awesome installer for drapes, etc. Most recently she handled treatment on patio doors in my new house.
