David and Alasdair were brilliant from start to finish. I went for the full service - conception and execution. At conception, David and Alasdair's priority was to make sure the rooms reflected my individual style and tastes, but the best possible version of it. We had an initial discussion about the general themes and styles that I wanted (which was facilitated with materials from Farrimond & Carter) and a week later we discussed mood boards which contained alternative proposals for each room. I loved their ideas, but equally there was space to have a frank and honest discussion about what I did and didn't like. Throughout the whole process, I felt there was a real focus on ensuring I was happy with choices, whilst also pushing me to do things that were bolder and more inspiring than I could have come up with myself. The communication on choices, prices etc was excellent. The execution part was seamless and hassle-free - David and Alasdair arranged excellent tradesmen and project managed the whole thing - I just gave them a spare set of keys and everything was done during the day whilst I was at work. It was so exciting to come home every evening and see the project take shape - and even better that it seemed to take only a matter of days! The end product is amazing and far more affordable than I thought interior design would be.

I loved working with David and Al on our side-return Kitchen project. They showed great enthusiasm for our project and incorporating their ideas made the kitchen work well for us and look more expensive than it actually was. We seriously didn’t know what to expect when we hired F&C and they have absolutely blown us away. We didn’t think they would be able to give us the luxury feel that we wanted in the space and budget we had.
