Rock 'n' Weld

Amazing work! The owner is professional, courteous, and very knowledgeable. We wanted a new patio with railing all out of steel and Rock n Weld knocked it out of the park.

In late December of 2020, we gave Jacob a deposit of over $900 for a storage cage for our son's condo. We were told the work should be completed the first week of January. By the late January, when nothing had been done, we were told it should be the next week. Again nothing. On February 3rd, we finally asked for our deposit back to which he responded "Fair enough sir. I'd do the same if the positions were reversed. I'll will drop a check on the mail post haste." On February 17th, we still had no check, but now Jacob said the refund would be sent electronically via Venmo. Again nothing. Finally on 2/21, we set a deadline of the next day for either the refund to be made or we would have to pursue legal action. When nothing happened, I contacted Jacob again only to be told again that the imaginary check would be coming. I replied that more promises would not cut it and that he was forcing us to take legal action. His response? "I have had many clients try and pull the same thing because of impatience. But if you are going to threaten and take me to court. Then go ahead and do it. I have been in similar situations before and won." - Jacob is pretty proud that customers are forced to sue him. And he added "But your right I'm unwilling to send a check and refund because someone is unable to wait to be on my schedule for install." In other words, he never had any intention of refunding our deposit - we were just supposed to wait indefinitely. And when exactly would that be? "I have no idea when that would be." He cashed our check immediately, but has no idea when he would fulfil his part of the deal. And to top if all off, when I posted a review detailing this out, he responded with "Keep on mind slander is a sueable offence." You might want to think twice about who you are dealing with at this company.
