From the quality of the digital scaled design drawings and plan to listening to my goals and supporting through all stages on site. The project has exceeded my expectations. Jo was amazing and really understood the brief for our new restaurant exterior planting. From designing the planters (corten coloured planters with rebar supports), to the planning and the positioning of the plants - Jo can be trusted to just get on with the job. We have an industrial / beautiful / colourful look throughout the year.

We were extremely happy with our finished garden. Jo listened to what we would need, how functional it would need to be as a family as well as being an easily maintainable space. It has been created in 3 stages. Jo has created something we love and continue to enjoy - turning effectively a piece of mossy grass into a thing of beauty! She is so easy to work with. We would 100% recommend her.

I have always found Jo to be very personable and engaging. She had some great ideas and visions for landscaping our garden, but also listened to our requirements to ensure that her designs worked for our family. She was also happy to continually update the plans with any new specifications we had. She is extremely professional and was very knowledgeable about what planning permission we would require. For a small fee she also dealt with all the planning and submitted the application to the council with all the specifications they required, which was extremely helpful.

Jo from Green & Wood garden design is a delight to deal with, she presented us with a number of different plans for designs on our garden which were both thorough and innovative. Our garden has now matured since Jo completed it which is just as we hoped it would be and always favourably competed on by friends and visitors. Both my husband and I would highly recommend Green & Wood.

As someone with a creative profession too, I thought it was important to give Jo an open book in regards designing and developing the space on my apartment terrace. It was a good call. Having known her for years, there was no upsell, just honest advice guided by the vision I obviously lacked. I uploaded a few pics on insta and three people enquired as to whether it was a rooftop restaurant they couldn’t find online and how to make reservation! In the summer I spend every possible minute out there and love Jo’s follow up and occasional tweaks and advice. I wouldn’t dream of going anywhere else and recommend her unreservedly.

We loved working with Jo. She was so responsive to our initial thoughts and ideas and came up with excellent options in terms of planting and design. She brings together a great team to do the work and both projects (front and back garden) were completed with great professionalism, care and represented great value for money. We would highly recommend Jo and hope to involve her in future garden projects at our home.
