About Us

In November 2018, South Ken Space Design became West End Space Design West End Space Design was born from a coming together of numerous international and local experiences in design, construction, business and real estate. We work extensively on renovating and rebuilding homes in the Toronto and Southern Ontario area. It is our mission to work closely with our clients to achieve a harmonious balance between a great design and the real needs of our customers. As designers and consultants we pride ourselves in being approachable and affordable, whilst retaining an acute sense of contemporary design with a practical element.

Lyne is very professional and super creative! We had a fun time collaborating and coming up with creative and functional ideas for our home. We really loved working with her and also asking for Gilles his input. Lyne is truly a great addition for anyone considering design services for their space We highly recommend !

My wife and I hired south ken space design to work on a home renovation project for our loft building. We have a large space and wanted to divide it up into multiple units. We worked closely with Lyne and Gilles and found them to be totally professional in their approach to our project. Their attention to detail and their creative input far surpassed our expectations and requirements. . Conceptual drawings, renderings and a thorough knowledge of design and space helped us visualize the ideas we discussed. They were on time and on budget, a rare commodity in this market place. I would highly recommend working with them.

Both Gilles ad Lyne were a pleasure to work with. They were very professional, prompt and knowledgeable about the basement re-design process. They were also very speedy and helped us immensely in getting all of the proper city permits approved. I would certainly recommend them and work with them again.

South Ken Space Design was great to work with. They were able to communicate well and were efficient and professional in their work. Their design was simple and easy to work from. They were prompt to provide the permits which made my life easier. Bottom line, I would certainly recommend South Ken Space Design, both as designers for contractors and private clients.

Gilles and Lyne did a great job designing our basement, securing all the permits and sourcing the required professionals (engineers, surveyors etc.) We would have been lost without their experience and good ideas. They gave us exactly what we needed. Always responsive, fairly priced, creative options and very professional! They are a great team.

This company was outstanding, they helped us with the design, budget, permits and contractor selection. They were on time and on budget which was a very important criteria to us. They made what seemed like an overwhelming project into something we could manage. Not only was the design beautiful but they were also half the price of an architect, which really helped with our budget. I highly recommend this company because of their great sense of design and their support. True professionals.

We had dreamed about renovating our home for years but the task seemed daunting. Lyne and Gilles orchestrated an extensive step by step consultation, design and renovation process that led to the creation of inspiring and delightful new spaces in our home. Lyne's designs transformed space beyond our imaginations and Gilles ' care and management of the project helped us to realize this dream within our timelines and budget. South Ken Space Design is outstanding.

Commented: Need help for my new bathroom for basement renovationThe good thing about renovating a bathroom in a basement is you can have the drain into the ground and have the shower at floor level. This is called an Italian shower. This design will make your show...
