In the past, Shelly has helped us with two major home remodels; loved the results. Recently, she helped us purchase a home at a time when the market required us to move fast and wisely. She helped us do both. We were pleased to get a property that met our requirements, in a wonderful location, at a good price. We are now working with her to remodel the new property.

Shelly and the Greatland Homes Team created the best home building experience we could have imagined. Our experience with the team - from looking at lots to closing on our dream home - was first class. Not only was the whole team great to work with, we had so much fun getting to know each of them. Shelly was able to take our rough ideas and make them into the most beautiful reality. We hired Shelly Rae of Your Home By Design to sell a home and purchase a new townhome. She helped us update our existing home to sell and make some changes to the new townhome we purchased. She was a pleasure to work with and really helped us through the process. She helped us to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Selling/moving after 31 years in our home was an enormous undertaking, but she helped us through it. And we are very happy with the outcome of our new adventure. Our home sold in 5 hours and it was largely due to her updating suggestions, advice and her staging/remodeling "people". With the design and guidance of Shelly Rae Linnell, we remodeled our 1948 style home into a beautiful and functional modern home that allows us main floor living as we get older. Shelly Rae came up with a design and guided the project along with our builder as we encountered the inevitable issues of remodeling. Shelly helped us tap into the expertise of skillful contracters so that we had well qualified people doing the key parts of the flooring and painting, for example. We so enjoyed working wth her!

We loved our finished product. We did a massive remodel and Shelly Rae provided expert consulting on selections down to the very last detail. She guided us through the big selections (e.g. granite counters, tile, wood floors, fixtures, trim, cabinet design, etc.) as well as the smaller things like upholstery for stools, towels, accent pillows, etc.

Love working with Shelly Rae. She works hard to know you and your needs. She knows what is hot now and what will stand the test of time. I would absolutely work with her again in the future.

From design to clean up, from schedule to budget, from estimating to payment, my project could not have gone better. It was a joy and an honor to work with Shelly. She is so talented, practical, creative, and professional. She has all the right skills and knowledge from a design, construction, usability, and resale perspective. She even helped with decor and window coverings. She has so many great connections, from subcontractors to materials. We did a major remodel of our main living area; including kitchen, dining room, living room, foyer, upstairs staircase, and family room. We removed everything, removed/moved walls, replaced/changed doors and windows. That was about 5 years ago and I still love the results. So beautiful, so livable, so usable. Any issues during the process were handled quickly and completely. Since completion, other than the new walls settling, which new walls will do; no issues.

Shelly was amazing to work with. She took time to understand our needs and helped us design and build a space that turned out beautifully - not only spatially, but with warm and inviting colors (she helped us choose the wood floor, cabinet color, carpet, granite countertops, etc.). Many people have commented on how nice our home is and I have to give much of the credit to Shelly Rae!

I used Shelly several times to sell my homes. She always worked with my best interest in mind. She did an excellent job staging my homes for a fast sale. I would use her again.
