Lewis Bailie is an architect based in Fleet, Hampshire. He set up the studio in 2018 following experience in a number of well-established UK architecture practices.
Lewis’s experience has primarily been of residential schemes, across all the work stages; from achieving planning permission, through to working drawings for pricing and construction. He maintains a social media presence with regular updates of work in progress and his work has also been published in a number of home magazines including Ideal Home Magazine.
Lewis believes a great design can elevate a place from the mundane into the realm of the special. A building project provides not only an opportunity to create something new, but to open relationships between spaces, capture views and draw in light. A well-considered design will be appreciated for many years and so it is worth investing the time and effort at the design stage to get it right.
"The society that pays for our services has forgotten the power of the living body of architecture, yet we have to build it to convince them" Lars Lerup, 'After the City'.
