Dave Edwards Design Ltd

Dave Edwards Design Ltd (DeD Studio) was formed in 2020 as an emerging architecture and multi-disciplinary design studio based in North London, but able to operate across the UK and further afield. We were founded on the basis that every project should be another opportunity to explore ideas, to achieve the best possible outcome for our clients. As a young practice there is no in-house style or predefined rule book to any project, we actively seek engagement from our clients, consultants and ourselves and look at every problem with fresh eyes. We do not seek to provide just any design but the right design for you that we can stand behind, this might take a bit of time but we feel important to get things right, at what ever stage of the project we work at. We aspire to the highest professional and design standards both in what we produce and in how we work with both clients, consultants and our own collaborators, and seek to take on projects across a wide variety of scales and disciplines. Prior to establishing DeD Studio our Director Dave Edwards has gained significant experience working in the UK and overseas. Spending the over five years at Stirling prize winning Swiss architecture practice Herzog and De Meuron on over a dozen projects in the UK and worldwide. Since our practice is still in its infancy we have included a few examples of this built experience in our profile as an example of the type of and standard of design we have collaborated on, and expect for ourselves. These examples are from the One Park Drive development, in London, E14 which we worked on in 2015-2016 and 2018-2019 and has now been released to the public as of October 2022.
