Ian Jenkin from G3 Design and Architecture helped us with our planning application recently, which was a really positive experience. A meeting at our house was arranged to discuss ideas for an extension to the property, and he was very open, knowledgeable and easy to work with. Ian did some research prior to the meeting and came up with some great ideas on the best use of space, and elegant design options, that would meet the City Council's criteria. The drawings were provided in an electronic format and in hard copies, which were professional and easy to read, helping to bring the project to life. G3 Design and Architecture were much more flexible and willing to share ideas than some of the larger architects we spoke to, and got the process moving straight from the first meeting. The planning application went straight through, without any issues or questions being raised, which was a fantastic outcome, and we would definitely recommend G3.

We brought a property in Plymouth, and decided to completely renovate. We contacted Ian via email, as we decided that we would like a single storey extension, he responded quickly. We are not based in Plymouth and completing all renovations ourselves. Ian was flexible with dates and times to meet us at the property, and has always completed the work within the time frames that we have agreed. Ian has made the process very easy for us, he submitted our plans to the local authority, and the plans were accepted. Since then, the process to complete the work has become more complicated than expected. Again Ian has made this process a lot easier for us. Ian has given us quotes for a structural engineer and a party wall surveryor. Ian has kept us informed throughout every part of the process. When you are not totally aware of the processes and legalities of building a single storey extension, it's so important to have someone that you trust, and are not paying extortionate prices. We highly recommend Ian, and have already recommended him to family members that live in Plymouth.

Absolutely amazing guy. Helped us at every stage of the build through to recommending building inspector. Very professional and considerate of situations required for our plans. Builders have even commented "it's great to get architect drawings that have accounted for windows as we haven't had to cut any bricks". Would recommend G3 Design & Architecture to anyone and everyone that needs plans done to their design with great help.
