Garry Adam Chartered Architect is an award winning practice which was established in 2001. We continue to maintain a strong track record of built work in private housing of all scales, located in both rural and urban settings. High quality bespoke houses and house extensions are a significant proportion of our workload. We have a range of skills to be able to effectively communicate ideas to all types of clients, from sketching, to scale models, sophisticated computer generated 3D visuals, to 3D virtual tours.

When my wife and I decided to convert an old stone steading to a dwelling we spoke to Garry as he had an excellent local reputation based on our discussions with former clients. We quickly realised that he had all the technical and personal skills we were looking for in an architect so we agreed RIAS terms and conditions with him. We have not been disappointed; Garry has a deep understanding in terms of designing low energy homes as well as navigating through the planning permission and building warrant processes. Garry has demonstrated good listening skills (and will disagree and challenge when necessary) and in addition to being a true professional is a likable, unpretentious, and hands-on person. We would highly recommend him and his architectural practice.
