The team at IGB Architectural Design have over 40 years experience working with a broad spectrum of clients completing a wide variety of residential building projects ranging from single room extensions, complete home alterations & renovations, restorations of Grade I & Grade II listed properties as well as million pound new-build homes. Our small studio is based in northern Cumbria, just on the outskirts of the dramatic and inspiring landscape of The Lake District National Park. We currently have residential, commerical and healthcare projects at various stages ongoing across the country and have previously completed homes in and around Edinburgh, Newcastle, Lancaster, Leeds, York, Liverpool, Birmingham and London to name but a few. As a smaller architectural practice, we take the time to get to know our clients and understand their goals, needs, budgets and aspirations for their properties and provide a single point of contact to guide your project through the planning and construction phases as stress-free as possible. The multi-disciplinary team at IGB Architectural Design can provide the full range of architectural design services from an initial free consultation (either in person or online), measured house & site surveys, planning permission applications, detailed technical building control approvals, contractor tendering and project management as well as liaising with other professional consultancy services, structural engineers, local authority planning departments, building control inspectors, estate agents, solicitors, interior designers, the land registry and multiple building contractors.
