James Lee Studio are a design practice based on the North Norfolk coast. We believe every project has a story to tell. We help our clients design from their first line to the final paragraph.
James Lee Studio founder James Lee Burgess grew up on the coast in Cornwall near Lands End, and moved to Norfolk 12 years ago via Cardiff University and then London. Growing up in Cornwall gave him an amazing rural childhood. It allowed him to work on the land, fish, and develop a passion for its art. James qualified as an architect 20 years ago. He now lives in Norfolk (via London and Cardiff) with a workshop in Cley Next the Sea, embracing the coast, landscape and its stories with his children.
