I was wanting to obtain planning permission to extend a Grade 2 Listed former Coaching Inn. I engaged JB Architectural Design Services at the start of this process. It took 5 months from the initial contact to full planning permission and listed building consent to be granted. The whole process from the initial site visit, to the drawing of the plans, to organising the Heritage Report and liaising with the various planning departments, was very seamless and professional. I was kept informed what was happening throughout the process. I would highly recommend James to anyone considering a 'project' and will certainly use him again.

I engaged James to assist with a loft conversion. James came to the property, listened to what we wanted to achieve and then advised based on his professional knowledge/experience as to what was realistic. He took measurements and produced us some conceptual drawings of what was achievable fulfilling all building regulations etc. Unfortunately, these drawings demonstrated that the effort and cost of the conversion was not worth the gain in space we would achieve so we decided to go no further. James was respectful of this and did not push for, or produce, any additional drawings etc. that we did not need and therefore kept the costs reasonable.
