About Us

Simple, modern home design. I run Landmark Design, a small family run practice located near Bishops Waltham, Hampshire. I'm inspired by simple warm modern structures and timber materials, simple forms, and design crafted into 'Landmark' homes. While my architecture aesthetic is outwardly simple, each project crafts a story about a specific client, in a specific time, and a specific place, using high quality materials. I find this results in a truly engaging process and a more meaningful home. We work with homeowners on new build housing, self-build house designing, extensions and renovations to craft them dreams into a realistic vision. I am an award winning consultant, shortlisted young businessman of the year 2023, and hold a Masters with Distinction in Architecture.

We have loved working with Alfie & Landmark Design. They have been really smart in our design, from suggesting new innovative design ideas we hadnt thought about, and producing a great set of drawings. Nothing was ever too much. We used them for the planning for our extension and internal refurb, and it was a smooth efficient process! Highly recommend.

Alfie designed our garden room and office and took the project through the planning process. We are delighted with our new bespoke building that attracts so many positive comments from friends, neighbours and family. Alfie is very knowledgeable and easy to deal with. His ideas to vault the ceiling and have an exposed beam running the length of the building just adds to the wow factor. Our project was very small compared to what Alfie usually does, however we were made to feel every bit as important as all the other projects Alfie was running at the time.
