We wanted to turn a 1960s dark and drab 2 bedroom terrace into a modern house we can be proud of and McArthur Tring Architects helped us every step of the way! From designing the layout, advising us on how to maximize every space available and creating a third floor by moving into the attic area that was completely redesigned with beautiful and large windows that brought in abundant natural light, they understood what we wanted and turned our dream into reality. Despite the house being in a historic preservation area and our open plan first floor requiring a sprinkler system, they helped us get the permits, find excellent tradespeople and sourced various samples so we can try ideas we hadn't even thought of. We couldn't be happier. What I really appreciated was that they made what could have been a daunting and stressful experience into an exciting and inspiring one. We also managed to stay pretty much on budget and that's also thanks to them too!
