richard pain architect was established in 2002. A small design orientated architectural practice based in Devon working in and around London and across the south of England. Commissions have ranged in size from a single flight staircase to a £26 million hotel and residential development. Each project brings its own rewards and every project is undertaken with a sense of adventure. There is no underlying style as each design evolves from that particular interaction between architect and client. I work closely with other consultants to provide a comprehensive service and have over thirty years experience as an architect.
