We employed Seth for a 2 storey side extension which was problematic in planning terms as we are located in a Conservation area, locally listed, and had already received a refusal some years earlier. Not only did Seth design exactly what we wanted, he also managed to secure an immediate consent from the planners. Seth is both personable and professional, easy to work with and a good communicator throughout the project. Seth recommended our excellent builder and project managed the build and the payments through to completion which made the whole process a lot easier. We are really enjoying our new space and Seth is highly recommended.

We appointed Seth White Architects for our project of demolishing a large conservatory across the back of our house & replacing it with a single storey extension & remodeling the downstairs which involved moving the kitchen from the front to the back of the house. We were relatively inexperienced in the processes of planning & building work but we did have a vision of what we wanted to achieve and a few ideas of how we might get there. Seth was able to develop our ideas into a contemporary design incorporating our “must haves” with some suggestions to create that WOW factor, which we not have achieved without him. He improved the flow of the house downstairs and came up with a floor plan incorporating the most beautiful kitchen and social space that we love & really works for us and our family. Seth oversaw the whole project from initial drawings, planning application, tender process, monthly site visits during the build and final sign off. He is knowledgeable & excellent at responding to calls and emails which was reassuring. Seth has a lot of contacts and introduced us to an interior designer, and lighting & kitchen experts with the end result being everything we dreamed it would be. Thank you Seth.

Seth produced a modern contemporary design for our forever home which we absolutely love. Seth has a flair for design and certainly added a wow factor to our home. He took on board our ideas and thoughts and maximized the full potential of our plot. He also introduced us to an excellent interior designer and lighting designer, making a complete package offering. We are now happily living in our new home. We reached out to a few architects a couple of years ago to discuss our extension plans (like most of the town it seemed). Seth was the only one that felt like he "wanted" our job. We are very green to this kind of work, so agreed with Seth to have the full design-plan-project manager service and I can honestly say: we wouldn't have coped without. Not only did he open us up to ideas we would never have thought of, he found the builders and project managed every step. Seth signed off when things were complete for us to pay, and dealt with all the "issues" to save us getting lost in builder jargon. As a result, our project came completely in budget (minus my many "maybe we just also add......"). Seth is personable, knows his stuff and knows the people to work with!

Seth was a breath of fresh air and professional from beginning to end. We were let down by our architect prior to approaching Seth. He took the time to visit us, get an understanding of exactly what we wanted and then gave us a whole host of creative ideas based on the our property. We choose Seth to design our extension as his ideas for the space was extremely impressive. We had other architects round and all they wanted to do was design a standard box. With Seth we had the confidence that we could get so much more. He explored varying options for the design trying to give us unique details that would make our property standout. Some of his design included exposed ceilings, angled glazing, alternative options on cladding, exposed beams etc. it was a design process where he was stretching the boundaries, but not to an extent that it would be unaffordable. We managed to get planning on our first application (many designers had told us planning would be tricky due to the size of the extension) which is testament to way it was designed & put forward to the planning department. We have been very impressed with Seth & would recommend him.
