About Us

Singh Fudge Architects is a London-based practice founded by Svinder Singh and Zoë Fudge. The studio operates across a variety of sectors including private residential, multi-unit housing schemes, office fit-out, retail, community and education. The studio has a strong design focus and is recognised for the quality of its built work. We strive to produce architecture that positively transforms the experiences of its users and the wider community. Our projects are characterised by a sensitive approach to materials and intuitive understanding of construction and detail. Our process is both meticulous and exploratory, underpinned by research, technical expertise and collaborative dialogue with clients, consultants and constructors.

Svinder was great to work with. He came well prepared to site visits in the early stages and provided us with plans that were exactly what we envisioned for the renovation for our home. He had some great ideas and worked really well with us We are coming to the end of the renovation and love being able to see our plans come to life!

Singh Fudge designed a loft conversion and rear extension for my Edwardian terrace house in east London, mainly working with Svinder and his team. It was a pleasure to work with them. They are talented, knowledgeable and accommodating. They balanced my client needs and preferences with their design integrity and deep technical knowledge. They are friendly, easy to engage with and professional. They delivered a thorough and beautiful package of tender drawings that went into an impressive level of detail. This was immensely helpful during tender pricing and construction. Svinder's advice on key decisions was invaluable and spot on. Simple aspects like employing a 'warm deck roof detail' which offers efficient thermal insulation and exposed roof joists meant that our loft is warm, unique, spacious and absolutely delightful, while also being cost effective. I highly recommend Singh Fudge to anyone that is after well considered, thoughtful and delightful building designs.

Zoe did an amazing job working with us to come up with a design that would truly maximize the potential opportunity for space in our semi-detached Victorian house. We ended up with a huge kitchen-diner, down stairs toilet/utility room and a new entrance with a boot room and boiler. The massive picture windows and 4 skylights really let in a lot of light even during the winter. We are so thrilled with the results and it has transformed our living completely.

Zoe provided us with an excellent service with our garden room - from first design through to overseeing the construction. Throughout the process she was patient, professional and ultimately we've a space which blends in very well in our garden and we're very pleased with. Thanks Zoe!

A great partner from the beginning to the end of a project. Imaginative design, intelligent use of available space. Know what is feasible and collaborate well with contractors. Great ideas about sourcing materials, appliances, tiles, etc.
