SRA Architecture have been first class in turning around a large number of projects for the Adil Group, they have been incredibly diligent and proactive in our projects preparing drawings, submitting planning applications, building regs drawings, structural drawings for The Adil Group. We recently had the pleasure of working with Niell on three separate projects, and the experience has been outstanding on every front. Whether it was designing a new 4-bedroom house, converting our garage into a self-contained annex, or expanding our home with a two-storey extension, Niell's professionalism, expertise, and collaborative approach have been invaluable throughout each stage. New 4-Bedroom House From the very beginning, Niell demonstrated exceptional foresight and dedication when designing our 4-bedroom house. Despite the planning challenges due to the proximity to our existing home and neighbouring property, Niell handled the complexities with remarkable patience and skill. His clear architectural vision helped us navigate these challenges with ease, working tirelessly with local planning officers to ensure the house could be built exactly where we had envisioned. The end result is a home that is both aesthetically pleasing and highly functional, perfectly balancing beauty and practicality. Garage to Annex Conversion When it came to converting our large double garage into a 4-bedroom annex, Niell’s attention to detail and deep understanding of the structural challenges were instrumental in making the project a success. He skilfully worked with the existing structure, ensuring the new design was not only thermally efficient but also visually cohesive with the rest of the property. His thoughtful approach to retaining the original external walls, coupled with a smart new design, helped us save costs while improving energy performance. Niell was always accessible, responsive to our feedback, and worked seamlessly with the structural engineer and other consultants, keeping the project on track. Two-Storey Extension Our two-storey extension project involved replacing an old pool house with a 140sqm addition to our home, and Niell’s input was crucial in making this vision a reality. The project was particularly challenging due to the unique nature of our home, which was a combination of two old farmhouses with uneven floor levels and a large central chimney. Niell’s creative and structural solutions helped integrate the new extension with the existing home seamlessly. He provided excellent visual illustrations of design concepts, making it easy for us to understand and make decisions. His expertise in handling regulatory issues, improving insulation, and keeping us within budget was invaluable. The finished extension feels like it was always part of the house, and we’ve received numerous compliments from family, friends, and neighbours. In all three projects, his responsiveness, technical knowledge, and dedication to delivering high-quality work on time and within budget have made him someone we would recommend for any architectural project. We’re thrilled with the outcomes and look forward to working with Niell during the builds.

Niell and his team worked tirelessly to gain us planning permissions for our build on which we initially received negative responses from the local council - however with Niell’s hard work and commitment to us as his client he gained us full permissions for several different projects and we could not be happier with the service! Undertaking a renovation project can be a stressful process. However, SRA has made every step feel as smooth as possible. Niell and Danny have been professional, polite and understanding on every step of the journey. From the initial designs to alternations, building regulations, planning permission, the tender process, project management and more, SRA has helped make our vision a reality. Niell and team did a great job with plans and 3D graphics as I struggle to visualise the graphics allowed me to get a realistic image. Having Niell deal with the planning department takes away the stress and their knowledge and experience is invaluable. They were very patient as we couldn't always make up our minds Thanks guys great job.

In my opinion, the best Architectural services in Lincoln. SRA completed amendments to our planning application and incorporated the redesign of 8 houses. The application was immediately approved which has avoided costly delays. The new house design has added value to the project and will provide much better use of the space. SRA have my highest recommendation for projects both large and small.

Neill at SRA Architecture has been amazingly professional and supportive throughout, advising on different packages to help budget for effectively and offering a service that helps take away a lot of the stress and workload when doing a large renovation project.

We have been working with Niell and his team at SRA in redesigning an existing planning passed house design. We have found them to be highly efficient , offering good choice of recommendations and proposals and very easy and pleasant to work with. The brief had to take place within a short period of time and the team were very accommodating with this, especially in difficult Covid times. I would highly recommend using SRA for future plans.

From day one, Niell has been very prompt and helpful in his communication, providing us with important details and advice on designs (the latter of which has been especially helpful as this is our first experience of building work), in addition to promptly providing us with high quality visualisations of the proposed work, revising these quickly based on our feedback, and subsequently submitting relevant documents for planning permission. While our project is not yet finalised, it has been a pleasure to work with Niell and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to others (and indeed, we already have!).
