Studiorés is a RIBA-chartered architecture and interior design practice based in Hampstead, north London. It was founded by Konrad Romaniuk and Francesca Saia with the aspiration to approach building as a craft: we believe that every detail, material, texture and form contribute to the atmosphere of the spaces we inhabit and should be given careful consideration. Our design approach is grounded in the study of materials, details and craftsmanship, from single objects, bespoke furniture and interiors, to the articulation of layouts, architectural facades and their dialogue with urban streetscapes. Konrad's knowledge, insight, and professionalism guided me through the entire residential renovation project. A process I initially anticipated to be stressful turned out to be an enjoyable and rewarding project. It was a real pleasure to work with Studiores on our family home in west London. The house was in terrible condition when we first saw it, but Konrad gave us lots of wonderful ideas, references and design options that gave us the confidence to buy it and refurbish it completely - we’re so happy with the result and would definitely use Studiores in the future!

The architecture team did a really good job on my place and made the process of renovating our flat enjoyable and much less stressful than it would’ve been without their help and advice. People dropping by are always asking us who we used for the refurb and we’re definitely going to use studiorés for our next project.

My partner and I are doing our second project with the Studiorés team and are pleased to recommend them to anyone with an interest in high-quality, carefully designed projects. The first renovation project we did together was featured on The Modern House and raised a lot of interest for its custom-made furniture, beautiful materials and original details. Studiorés are now assisting us with the renovation of a listed apartment in Maida Vale and we really appreciate their informed and considered approach to the history of the building, and their ability to do it justice while accommodating our needs and requirements.

I worked with Konrad and Fran from Studiorés on three separate projects. The first was the refurbishment of a West London flat I’m renting out. The others were dental practices for companies I set up. I didn’t have any particular design ideas, I just knew how much I wanted to spend and uplift the value of the properties and their appearance. Studiorés provided an impeccable service with lots of design options and solutions I wouldn’t have thought of myself, and guided me through planning and the build. Their ideas, help and commitment made a huge difference to the final result, and I highly recommend them.
