The Practice was started in 1984 and has steadily grown ever since, undertaking a variety of designs, including private houses, community buildings, domestic extensions and specialising in doctors surgeries. In 1988 we moved to the practice's present premises overlooking South Bristol and posted out 'Manifesto' in the shop window. In January 1995 we became a partnership and expanded into the office next door. We have always sought to offer our services to community groups and the less privileged as well as undertaking the more financially rewarding jobs. Nearly all our work has come through referrals from many satisfied clients and we believe this is due to the close working relationship and service we strive to offer as well as the character, suitability, design and quality of the completed buildings. Each of us brings our individual experience of architecture and life into the office and work together to produce sensitive and original design solutions. Together we hope to continue to address the challenges the future will present and create designs, which will meet the physical and spiritual needs of the building users, celebrating nature and the elements, using natural materials, sunlight, water and colour, incorporating landscaping and art. Building to inspire, nurture and to be enjoyed.
