Kieran has grown up in the area and returned after studying in Oxford for 8 years. He developed his skills rapidly learning the many good practices of the commercial property world during his 6 years at the BBC in house Building Design department. During that time he worked on many iconic buildings including Broadcasting House, Television Centre and Bush House. In addition to learning about many technical issues about what goes into modern buildings he also learnt the importance of a positive attitude and a determination to find a way to achieve a better result for everyone. Kieran took the opportunity to start Kieran McDonnell Design in 2002 when he courageously stepped away from the corporate world. He has really enjoyed developing homes, offices and shops as Kieran McDonnell Design but now feels that the time is right to re-focus. West Hampstead Projects has been formed as we have all had to adapt to new ways of doing things following Covid-19. Many of us have reconnected with our local communities and realize that local connections are indeed to be valued.
