PPDML Architecture

We gave him contract to build annexe from start to finish. He promised work will take 2months and contract amount was agreed and signed, early 2021. Few weeks into the work, he stopped work. He then wrote that the projected cost has changed significantly due to change in scope of work. I agreed to pay the additional amount he quoted but was not happy how he suddenly stopped work without discussing with me. The work is still not completed till date. He did a very poor work and sometimes twisted account of what happened. The electrical work was so poor that it is yet to be signed off. The work is yet to be completed as the council has not yet gotten the electrical certificate from his electrician. He did such a poor work in the kitchen. The ceiling seems to be collapsing. The rendering and painting of the outside walls is so poor that my children say it looked like an old house. The floor work is so poor that people comment that it seems to be sinking. He put bathroom light switch on the wall of the bathroom. When I pointed this out to him, he told me that it was the electricians responsibility. This was an electrician he employed. He left paint marks on the floor which has remained till the day of writing this review. He did not respect his own contract. If it were possible, I would have rated him zero. I suggest that you think twice before giving him any major work.
