up and coming art

I have always struggled to find artwork that equally I liked, could afford and did not feel I would tire of quickly, so with a whole house of empty walls after a recent renovation and still not altogether sure of my style, I was at a loss as to where to start. I felt the upandcomingart website might offer 'something different' and whilst I was immediately drawn to several pieces because of their visual appeal I have been interested to find out the inspiration behind the work. I had the pleasure of meeting the artist of my (to date) favourite pieces at a recent exhibition and was also given invaluable advice regarding framing options, that would suit not only the artworks I had purchased, but also my decor. The monthly blog is interesting and informative and I cannot speak highly enough of the level of service offered and goods received.

As I write this I’m looking at “Howard” . . . a small very fine drawing I purchased from “Up and Coming Art”. It always gives me a small charge of pleasure to gaze at “Mr H”. You don’t need to be Charles Saatchi to buy original art (although it does help). If I can do it on a jazz man’s wages then practically anyone can and really in this world of mass production shouldn’t you own at least one thing that is a one off, something like no other . . . . The Up and Coming Art website is easy enough to navigate and will let you see what’s available. Highly recommended.
