Firstly, thanks for taking time to write feedback, it’s always essential for a small business like us to understand our clients and take any comments on board.
Unfortunately, in this circumstance, we feel your review is a little unfair. We do request an initial deposit of £350.00 to start the design process. This covers the unlimited design meetings we offer to our complete service clients to showcase the potential of their future bathrooms. During your consultation we advised a figure of £20,000 - £25,000 for your new bathroom based on the initial discussions around what features and products you would like to achieve in the space. During the following first design meeting we presented a full 3D design and physical mood board including additional product images; we also informed you that this was just your first design and represents the full potential we can offer thus coming in over budget. We fully expected you to continue with this collaborative process and approach to achieve the bathroom you desired at a budget you were happy with, especially with how positive the feedback was on the initial design.
We would love to be able to offer the design service for free, however, we feel that would be unfair to our clients who are investing into their property with a bathroom installation of our calibre. Likewise, rather than sending out a listed quotation of products (which to most people is just a list of words/names) we choose to discuss the detail of our product quotations face to face in the Design Studio so that you can touch and feel the quality of the product, so quite the opposite intention to what your review might suggest. We prefer a personal approach to our clients and enjoy explaining why we have selected such high quality products to create their beautiful bathroom design. Your comment in regards to the design fee is misleading, in that we do reimburse the deposit if you choose our Complete Project Managed Installation – this does not have to be the first quotation as you incorrectly state.
As you correctly point out, our budgets may not be for everyone however we pride ourselves on a collaborative approach as we totally understand that every clients’ needs and expectations are entirely different. We work with clients who are in their forever home looking for a stamp of luxury, or clients on tighter budgets but still wanting to achieve the Bathroom Eleven quality.
We are saddened that you did not choose to take us up on the offer to return to the showroom to experience just how we might make your bathroom a reality and wish you luck with your bathroom project elsewhere. If you wish to discuss this in person, or over the phone, we would be more than happy to oblige as, as you correctly state, we are in fact nice people that a lot of clients trust due to our highly recommended quality of work (please see below for further 5 star reviews) and accredited design capabilities.
