Leicht Kitchen Design Centre

“We visited the Leicht Kitchen Design Centre in Sevenoaks with the intention of replacing our kitchen in our 3 year old new build house with something similar but of better quality. However, upon seeing the fabulous range of cabinetry and finishes available decided to spend more on a kitchen that would complement the style and furnishings in our open plan space. Leicht suggested features that make our kitchen unique to us. We are delighted with the carbon grey and alpine wood combination. The island is of a bespoke design incorporating a integrated hob, wine cooler, seating, cupboards & drawers and shelving. Leicht worked with us to create a kitchen we are all proud of that feels part of the overall style of our room rather than a functional space.”

“Last year I had some time in-between 2 jobs and decided to build something that I always dreamed of - a garden studio. This was quite a challenge but I really enjoyed it. Where I needed help the most was in decorating the finish product. I'm good with a drill, but when it comes to choosing colours, I'm at lost. And Jo came to the rescue! The brief was simple. I wanted a modern urban man cave with plywood and all that cool Shoreditch style. Jo first selected the main colour which is a deep blue, and some amazing William Morris wallpaper. I was a bit sceptical about the latter but the end result is fabulous. She organised some shelvings and storage with oiled OSB doors, suggested leaving the raw plywood flooring and helped me selecting a nice Scandinavian desk. The end result is exactly ... me! Thanks a million Jo for this outstanding help!”

“From our first meeting Sai understood my design brief and came up with ideas straight away. She knew I wanted to stretch my budget and didn’t hesitate to recommend high street products to sit alongside my bespoke pieces to get my look right. We kept in touch with regular meetings for updates. I’d highly recommend Sai whatever budget you have and any size of project.”

“We are delighted with the bespoke walk-in cupboard that Tim and his team designed and built for us in our loft room. The finish is very smart and the carpenter (Gary) and decorator (Craig) were considerate and tidy while working here. The space was an awkward one so it was helpful to have the 3D design in advance. We would definitely use them again in the future.”

“I hired Claudia on the recommendation of a friend and she has been incredibly helpful. Initially Claudia came for a ‘home styling’ consultation and she proposed a list of improvements to my main reception rooms and entrance hall. She sent me a clear and well structured brief and fee proposal. The main elements of the ‘make over’ recommendations were: application of a textured wallpaper matching the colour scheme, re-upholstery of my dining chairs, selection of a new coffee table and matching set of ART DECO armchairs, a new console table, a bespoke large overmantle antiqued mirror for the entrance hall and a bespoke hand made ceiling light installation and a new rug in the entrance hall. Claudia’s choices and suggestions were well considered and blended very carefully with our existing style and decoration. The liaison with the makers of the bespoke pieces was time consuming but Claudia managed to get sorted in time for the deadline we had set. I am very happy with the result and would highly recommend her for help with pulling together interiors schemes and sourcing unique pieces.”

“Decorbuddi was an invaluable resource for me and proved to be of tremendous help for the 18 month restoration project of my Victorian home. After attending a bitesize interior design orientation course with the club, I had initial interior design help from Katie Hanna on an hour by hour basis. Through the DecorCafe network I subsequently employed lighting consultant Virginie Avrillon Dunne (A Splash of Light) and garden consultant Amy Hannigan to provide lighting and garden planting plans respectively. Other help for my project sourced through the network came from Victoria Hill Bespoke Soft Furnishings, The Elliot Chair Company (upholstery) and Eco Renovate (energy efficiency advice). Everyone was incredibly professional and delivered services and goods as promised and turned what could have been an overwhelming and daunting task into a manageable and enjoyable project.”

“Sybille redesigned our whole house, with a new glazed extension, additional bathroom and bespoke joinery throughout. Originally built in 1860, the house had not been touched since the 1970s but had a wealth of original features which we were keen to enhance. We also have some antique furniture which we wanted to mix with more contemporary elements. Sybille has fantastic taste and skilfully juxtaposed the period features with modern ideas. Not only did she very tactfully steer me away from items which would not work, but she also gave me confidence in some of my earliest ideas and choices - it is so easy to go for the safer bet or start doubting one's decisions in the midst of a major project. There are many favourites across the house from the very sociable kitchen space to a truly magnificent master bathroom. We couldn't have been happier with Sybille's help throughout this major renovation project. I can recommend her expertise wholeheartedly.”

“I was so pleased with the work Emilie did for me. I have an open plan kitchen/living room which is an awkward space and she had to work with the existing aesthetics of the living room space and incorporate a kitchen design. I felt like Emilie really understood my taste, especially with colour and how colour works with period styles. She also really listened to the way I used the space and although the kitchen is fully functional, most of the utilitarian (ugly) stuff is hidden away so it's not visible when you're relaxing in the living room. Like everyone who lives in a small space, I was particularly pleased that she found lots of clever ways for hidden storage. It was super helpful to have a designer / project manager rolled into one, for sourcing fixtures, fittings and specialist builders and also because I was too busy at work to look over the day to day stuff. Emilie would just send photos on her phone so I could quickly and easily make decisions and minimise delays in the process. Having your kitchen done can be stressful at times so it was great to have just one single point of contact throughout, especially someone with Emilie's experience and understanding. I'm so happy with the finished result, and I have come to enjoy it even more over time as a bespoke kitchen designed to fit my living requirements rather than a standard 'showroom' kitchen.”

“We are now nearing completion of our project and B&M have been just exceptional. They are always professional but also very personable and it has been an absolute pleasure to work with them. Olga is the brain behind the design and Anatoly makes it all happen. Olga has the most amazing taste. She not only helped us create a stunning flat but also managed to increase our storage space by 40%! She always brought brilliant ideas to the table and was very patience with us all throughout the creative process. We trusted her 100% and were incredibly impressed with the quality and uniqueness of the pieces that she suggested for us, some even being bespoke. Our hat goes off to Anatoly. He is very thorough and has made this a stress-free experience for us, which is quite an achievement! He dealt with all the suppliers and overcame all logistics and last-minute challenges. He is impossibly resilient and thanks to his hard work and perseverance we have just the home that we wanted. All in all, we could not be happier with the end result. We can highly recommend Black & Milk.”
