He came up with some great ideas and the finished project has transformed our home- we are very happy. “Millar Howard were our architects on our project to build what we have called 'The Gillyflower'; a rammed earth sound proofed and very beautiful, sustainable wedding and events venue. From the very early stages of this project (before we even knew what the business was going to be).. MHW worked with us on feasibility, planning, creative ideas, design and administrated the contract with our excellent builders, JR Building LTD. We couldn't be more happy with the level of service we got and they often went beyond the limits of our brief to ensure that we ended up with what is now a very popular, impressive and stunning building perfectly sitting in the landscape. “We had considered extending our house for several years due to our growing family but the layout made it difficult for us to envisage what was possible which actually put us off taking it further. Oliver was recommended to us and took the time to understand how we currently use our house and what we would like going forward. We wanted more open-plan family living but having an old-fashioned terrace with dark, box rooms, this seemed impossible. However, Oliver’s vision has transformed our house by adding a small extension and changing the layout to make the most of the space we have, it now feels like a much bigger, lighter and spacious house. Oliver was incredibly patient and professional, taking the time to explain every aspect to us as this was a new process for us. His plans offered various suggestions for us to review and choose which suited our personal tastes. We highly recommend Oliver as he was able to take our ideas forward into an achievable project and was very knowledgeable and personable.”

“The job that my wife and I engaged Hawkes Edwards to do was something of a challenge, it was an extension/conversion of a grade 2 listed Georgian townhouse,which also happened to be in a conservation area in Stratford-on-Avon to be precise. Trevor and his team were excellent through all stages of our project, the consent and planning approval were seamless which relieved us of any potential stress. It was a pleasure to work with Trevor and his team and we can honestly say what they did totally transformed the house, merging the former Georgian glory with a 21st century home and thus creating one of Stratford's finest houses. Both my wife and I were delighted with the outcome as i'm sure Trevor was. Many Thanks David and Bridget Hunt.”
