Cluett Carpentry is an East London based cabinetry company specialising in bespoke furniture. The company is run by Dan, the proprietor. He has worked in the trades for the past ten years, in carpentry, building, tiling, plastering and more. He works with a small team of makers and artists and brings a holistic view to furniture production. In our modern and well-equipped workshop we make beautiful one-off pieces for homes (and also for boats). We strive to make the process of having furniture designed and made to your taste and requirement to be a real pleasure. Sheet, veneer, solid and reclaimed materials can be worked and a full range finishes including spray finishes. We hope our furniture goes beyond the attractive and functional, practical and well designed: our unique and impressive designs are the antithesis of mass production. There are occasions for buying a cheap Swedish chest of drawers, a frozen pizza, and a wealth of other low cost things… but something made well, with attention to detail, real craft and passion is something to treasure.
