We are a small established family business based in the village of Stanton, near Ashbourne on the Staffordshire/Derbyshire border. With over twenty-five years experience in carpentry and cabinet making for the home, we take pride in what we do, and much of our work comes from personal recommendations by our customers. In our own workshop, Martin Goldstraw produces furniture to order using the finest quality materials available, personally designed to suit your individual requirements and budget, and finished to an uncompromising standard. We are not bound by any of the usual design constraints of mass produced furniture. This means each and every piece of furniture can be any height, width, depth and colour you want it to be. All of our timber is carefully sourced and selected from sustainable forests, and as a family we are members of the Woodland Trust. All of our wood finishes are either water based with a FIRA 6250 severe rating, or oil based with 0% VOCs.
