Hugh made three sets of fitted alcove shelving for our house, one of which included a built-in cupboard (and required a radiator to be moved, which Hugh arranged). The workmanship is absolutely superb - a very high quality - and they look really wonderful. They are exactly what we were after. Hugh was helpful throughout the process, especially in the early planning stages. We can't recommend him highly enough!

Bookcase Project Description - Supply and fit 2 alcove bookcase/cupboard units with 5 adjustable shelves 27mm beech timber above deeper cupboard as shown in sketches emailed separately. Shelves supported on bookcase strips (please specify finish). To fit ca. 1200mm x 2930mm. Depth of bookcase shelves is ca. 250mm. Depth of shelves in cupboards ca. 400mm. Plinth to base, scribed to wall and ceiling. Cut around coving and skirting. Carcase is MDF construction. Solid wood facing. Supplied primed. No back to cupboards in area of socket to allow access and maximise depth. Assume 2 shelves in left hand cupboard and 1 in right hand cupboard. Strengthened area to right hand side to allow TV bracket fixing. To paint the above in Little Greene intelligent eggshell.

I have used Hugh several time in the last couple of years; his work is always excellent. He is most helpful in suggesting design ideas and solutions to awkward problems. Equally important is that he keeps to schedule and budget, communicates very clearly. Really fine wok.
