I have worked with Langstaff Ellis on a number of cabinetry commissions for my clients. Their attention to detail and enthusiasm to achieve exactly what clients require makes them a real part of the team, and has resulted in some beautiful work!

Langstaff Ellis provided me with bespoke kitchen and wardrobes as well as wardrobes and desk for my daughter. They put in a lot of time and effort getting the detail right, working with very small tolerances to suit a minimalistic design. I am the director at Simon Mack Architecture and show my kitchen at all my client who absolutely love it particularly the bespoke larder. We have also worked on a number of other projects together

I spent 3 months going to every mainstream kitchen show room and discussing my particular requests. None of the high street large chain companies could do what I was asking for (not even with their so called bespoke services) and I wasn't willing to compromise. So I found a designer; Simon Bray (posh playrooms). Who told me about Langstaff Ellis and set up a meeting to go through the plans. My dream was to have a modern linear clutter free kitchen with enough seating for 6. High gloss white handleless cupboards and black/grey slate look worktops in silestone. I wanted a practical high quality modern linear kitchen. We had a very tight schedule of works on our full house renovation (which was in Bournemouth), required by 7 July 17, this was only 7 weeks away. This was a huge ask especially as the burnt lacquer finish I wanted took 4 weeks. I met Edward Birks and Simon Bray at the workshop in Chinnor. Discussed the finer details; strong hinges, handle less cupboards, under cupboard lighting, servo drives for large over counter cupboards (which are a god send when your hands are full from emptying the dishwasher). Edward confirmed with some re scheduling works he can meet our deadline. I then added a bespoke book case in Iroko with a built in cabinet for kids crafts and space between shelves for TV. Painted in chalk board paint. This was for the wall between 2 doors in my kitchen. I was expecting to have to wait longer for this with there only being 4 weeks until delivery. He delivered on 07 July (bookcase included) in person to hand over to my joiner and go through fitting instructions. This was the first time he had visited the site. Everything was done by email/ phone and reliant on my joiners dimensions. Everything fit perfectly. I could not praise Ed and the team at Langstaff Ellis enough. I have my amazing high quality perfect kitchen (no clutter). My hinges can even handle my pre school kids swinging off them. I love my curved Iroko breakfast bar. My bookcase is amazing, lower shelves for my children's books. TV is mounted between the shelves. My children can read books, or draw on the chalk board cabinet doors while I'm making dinner. I highly recommend Langstaff Ellis. I will be using them in future.

Langstaff-Ellis created some built-in cupboards and a TV unit for my client. They had a great selection of finishes, their technical drawings were great to show clients how the room would look and their service was excellent - friendly and professional in equal measure. I have every intention of using them again and would highly recommend them.

The fitted furniture made by Langstaff-Ellis for this chalet refurbishment project has been of the highest standard. They have produced 3d visuals and exploded drawings to ensure accuracy in the reproduction of my design. They have manufactured within the required timescale, to the required budget and delivered on time. Excellent!

Having looked at work examples of Langstaff-Ellis, we approached them for contemporary bespoke joinery for our client. Stephen and Edward are very knowledgeable and straightaway understood our requirements. Before manufacturing they also produced 3D visuals of our designs, which helped our client to visualise the scheme. I have worked with many specialist joinery companies over the years and I would recommend Langstaff-Ellis above all else. Their knowledge of materials, detailing and proportions sets them apart, not only do they craft beautiful furniture but are natural designers too. Langstaff Ellis designed for us the most amazing, large scale bespoke English kitchen. Very simple and plain but with exquisite detail and gorgeous materials - black slate and oak counter tops and high quality traditional sinks, taps and handles. The colours, two shades of traditional green, were chosen with immense care and after being given lots of options. And the detailed layout, drawer and cupboard sizes were all brilliantly done. We have many many admiring comments from visitors and we would recommend them without question. And, they also designed and made for us a pair of hardwood garage doors which none of the expert garage door people seemed able to do. We are very happy indeed.

We hired Langstaff-Ellis Ltd to design and fit a bespoke kitchen in our Grade II listed house. They were very professional, prompt and efficient throughout the whole process, from consultation, design, fitting to aftercare, everything went very smoothly and as planned. The design had to be carefully considered due to unusual room dimensions and a window in an awkward place. The Langstaff-Ellis team assisted in designing a bespoke shelving and cupboard space that is both an interesting part of the overall design and very useful day to day. We're thrilled with the extremely high standard of workmanship and the design detail of the kitchen, and wouldn't hesitate to use them for further bespoke woodwork throughout the house.

Their locally based workshop allows us to come and visit; making those slightly more detailed and bespoke items easier for both of us to produce. Life is easy when you have designers on both sides working so seamlessly together. All items are made to the highest of quality and every client of ours has been over the moon with the end result. Their precise project managing allows us to concentrate on other areas of the client project meaning no time is wasted. We will definitely be continuing to work together with Langstaff for the foreseeable future.
